Today is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day.

Indigenous advocates recommend folks observe today by listening to stories of residential school survivors, wearing orange shirts in solidarity, donating to Indigenous-led causes, and choosing to fight for one or more of the 94 calls to action, which include improvements to the health-care system, education, and foster care.

There is plenty of information out there, please take a moment to understand today and your role in reconciliation as a Canadian or as a business that operates in Canada.

You're only allowed one link in your IG bio, so why not build a links page on your website.

This allows you to totally customize your links page however you like.

Here are some benefits:

✅ Don't need an app like Linktree
✅ There are no fees
✅ You keep your domain name visible in your bio (good for brand recognition)
✅ You have full control over the design and functions (including tracking)
✅ Better for your SEO

If your business needs a website, and you don’t know which platform to choose, this article by Geek Unicorn does an excellent job comparing some of the options—WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace and Wix.

The recommendation is Shopify for e-commerce and WordPress for almost everything else.

We’d throw in our 2-cents that the WooCommerce plugin for WordPress is our e-commerce option of choice, so we stick with WordPress for any type of website, including e-commerce.
