In our Gen Z study, we released this Wednesday, we found that Canadians aged 16-23 will revive retail if brands continue to improve their in-store experiences. 45% of Gen Z consumers prefer shopping in-store while only 16% said that they prefer shopping online.

After several months of work, we are proud to share that the Amplify team is releasing Canada’s first comprehensive Gen Z study in partnership with the Globe & Mail.

From January to March, we surveyed 1,200+ Canadians aged 16-23 inquiring on values, habits, finances, purchasing habits, and much more. We are fortunate to have some of the findings published in AdWeek today.

This generation is vastly different than the cohorts preceding it.
