I see light, shadows, textures, shapes, and colours in everything everywhere, all the time. Sometimes I’ll see a scene with my eye and think via what camera settings might bring this to life as a photograph.

If you’ve ever skated or skateboarded you’ll know this same mentality. You’ll see the worlds architecture as run-ups, handrails, gaps and landings. You’ll imagine what tricks you could try, how it could be filmed, and so on.
I hope this perspective never goes away.

Because with this perspective an airport parking lot at 6am can become something much more interesting.

While everyone else is posting double rainbows, we who live on the north shore were fortunate to have an incredibly beautiful sight of low clouds illuminated during sunset while it poured rain. If you’re live on the main land you got a rainbow instead.
