Our belief is that we are living in the age of purpose. Having a killer product is no longer enough. Today’s brands are expected to take a stand on pressing social issues, and consumers want to do business with companies that are actively making a positive difference in the world. Organizations can be major creators of social impact and to do so is not incompa

tible with making money. That's what we call 'Profit With Purpose' -- and we think it's the future of business. Our Story

Public Inc. was founded in Toronto, Canada in 2008, and is a collective of anthropologists, storytellers, tinkerers, artists, marketers, researchers, tacticians, financial analysts, influencers and overall passionate professionals united by a common goal of helping everyone profit with purpose. We believe that purpose - a meaningful and focused commitment to creating social and community impact - will be a powerful driver in accelerating, amplifying and differentiating successful 21st-century businesses; that integrating purpose into their brand, business and marketing strategies creates a "sticky factor" that will play an increasingly pivotal role in attracting & retaining the next generation of consumers and employees. And more broadly that we can, and must, move increasingly toward a "purpose economy" where businesses, nonprofits, governments and consumers behave in ways that are as good for the world, and for those people and communities around them, as they are for themselves. True "profit with purpose".
