Happy International Women’s Day! ✨💪 Today, let’s celebrate the incredible women who make our communities shine.

Here are 6 local-ish women-run businesses I absolutely love:

– I’ve brought both of my dogs (RIP Caicos) to this vet clinic for checkups, food and treats. They are always kind and attentive to Saje! 🐾

- If you need a boost in your energy, want to improve your micro nutrients then their product do just that. They also have soaps and juice🥤

– Bonnie and her team take such great care of Saje when he goes for his spa treatments. ✄ Bonnie also opens Pet Styles on Brown’s Line.
movement 🧘🏾‍♀️ – A local pilates studio in South Etobicoke are definitely on my to do list. They recently opened up a second studio downtown.
and.smell.the.candles– I actually make my own candles for fun - they are my fav. A local woman led company offers lovely scents and the 🕯️presentation is clean and fresh.

- I mean how could I not? I’m embracing being more visable and vocal about being a Real Estate Broker 🏡. So here’s some shameless self promotion so give me a follow 👍🏾, eh?

Let’s keep it 💯.. women are doing the damn thing! We are the most educated, largest home owner segment and getting really clear on creating
a life of quality.

We are questioning societal norms and choosing if and how we participate in that. (Que Arethan Franklin and Annie Lennox please)

Whether you’re a Trad or Modern woman here’s my alter ego 😈 Diva Babb’s advice if you’re a woman with property, money or both....or aspire to be.

1. Don’t move him in (think Ashley in Love Is Blind!)

2. If you ignore #1 then have a cohabiation agreement prenuptual agreement first.

3. Do not combine your inheritance. Keep it separate. ➗

4. Be very careful who you choose as your executor and power of attorney for health and property. And if you don’t have a will 📝 - well what are you waiting for?

5. Keep an emergency account because men, people, kids can switch up! 💰

6. Trust yourself. If you have a bad feeling there is a reason! Drop Offset and Run girl, run!🏃🏼‍♀️

7. Are you the breadwinner in the relationship? Chile..... re read this list! 📋

Today - celebrate you no matter where you are, what you look like, your weight, your finances. Use your innate wisdom, get professional advice and always show up for yourself 💓
