2025 was a crap year.
Here’s what I’m doing differently in 2026. Let’s gooooo…👇

——

The past year, I’ve been dealing with chronic pain.

The kind that puts you in survival mode.

_______

The pain is still there.

But I’m learning to manage it — and I’m done letting it hijack my life.

______

Last year, self-doubt was loud.
Imposter syndrome had a megaphone.

I can’t turn it off.
But I can focus on helping others instead of listening to it.

________

I felt boxed in — talking about one thing
when I have so much more to say.

I love communication, branding, and marketing.
I’ve spent my adult life in these worlds.
It’s time I talk about them.

______

I’ve held back out of fear —
of judgment, of not getting “results.”

Screw that.

______

I let life happen to me.

Now, I’m happening to life.

______

Here’s to a year of:

• helping others
• creating without judgment
• having opinions
• never taking health for granted

________

What are you calling in for 2026?

____
Many thanks to for the inspiration behind this post. If there’s one new account you should follow this year, it’s his… you can thank me later 😊

Hey equestrian business owners! 😣 If you’re spending time crafting carousel posts but not seeing the engagement you deserve from equestrian-minded audiences, your colour choices might be to blame.

Poor contrast—like light text on a light background or dark on dark—can make your content hard to read, no matter how valuable it is.

And if people can’t read it easily? They’ll just scroll right past. 😬

Here’s how to fix it:

✔️ Use bold, high-contrast combos (like white text on dark backgrounds or black on light).

✔️ Avoid busy patterns or colours that make text hard to see.

People should never have to squint or struggle to read your posts. 🧐

Want a super easy way to check if your colour choices are readable?

💬 Let me know in the comments and I’ll send you a link to a free colour checker website. 😊

If you’re pouring your heart into Instagram carousels and still hearing crickets (in other words, no engagement 😢), your font choice might be part of the problem.

Fancy, decorative fonts may look pretty, but if your equestrian audience can’t read them quickly, they’re going to scroll right by. 😬

Here’s the fix:

✔️ Stick to clean, easy-to-read fonts (think sans-serif or simple scripts).

✔️ Avoid overly decorative or thin styles that make your text hard to follow.

Remember, your content is competing for attention in a VERY crowded feed—make sure your message is as clear as day! 🌟

🫣Okay, real talk with those who’ve been following me for a while ⬇️

I’m addicted to learning.

Like, I can spend (and have spent!) hours and hours reading, researching, watching videos… convincing myself that I just need to know one more thing before I can actually start “the thing”.

And if I’m being brutally honest with myself?

It’s my sneaky way of avoiding action.

Add to that my perfectionist brain, which loves to whisper things like, “If it’s not perfect, people are going to judge you”
or
“If you fail, what’s even the point?”

Ugh. 😔

But here’s what I’ve been learning (and yup, still working on):

❌Failure isn’t the enemy

✅Waiting around for “perfect” is

Every time I’ve messed up, it’s taught me more than any amount of prep ever could.

And you know what?

Success doesn’t come after one perfect move.

It comes after a bunch of depressing, disappointing and discouraging failures, messy tries, and figuring it out as you go.

So, if you’ve been waiting to feel ready—guess what?

You won’t. Nobody does. You just start.

If you’re feeling brave, let me know what’s one thing you’ve been holding back on?

😬And I’ll share mine.

🫶 Be sure to send this a friend who could really hear this right now.
