A.K.A. New Media Inc. Wins 4 W3 Awards!

The w3 Awards celebrates digital excellence by honouring outstanding Websites, Marketing, Video, Mobile Sites & Apps, Social and Podcasts created by some of the best interactive agencies, designers, and creators worldwide.

Building on A.K.A.’s recent success at The Webby Awards, the W3 Awards are sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of top-tier professionals from a “Who’s Who” of acclaimed media, interactive, advertising, and marketing firms. This year the W3 had over 3,000 entries from countries across the globe and A.K.A. has been awarded in four separate categories.

It is an honour for A.K.A.’s work to be recognized by our industry peers. New Institute of Corporate Directors Website!

With nearly 15,000 members and a network of 11 chapters across Canada, the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) is the voice of Canadian directors and their boards. As a not-for-profit, member-based organization, ICD delivers best in class governance education, thought leadership resources and opportunities for members to network within the director community.

ICD came to A.K.A. with the need for a new website that would support them to better engage their members across Canada and represent the ICD brand to their broader audience. The ICD and A.K.A. teams worked collaboratively to create a best-in-class website, built on Kentico CMS, which has a portal through which membership is activated, is ICD’s primary platform for education course enrollment, promotes and provides registration for chapter events, provides member benefits, resources and webinars, and ultimately is a marketing tool for ICD to drive awareness, membership growth and engagement.
