What began with a simple question—“What do I wear?”—has become something much bigger. 🇮🇹

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the . Three years later, that question has evolved into a sold-out event of nearly 400 guests—an evening rooted in style, storytelling, and community, all in support of .

This year’s theme transported us to Sicily. Through a beautifully imagined “flight” led by masters of ceremonies and , we were taken across the island’s most iconic destinations—each look styled as a guide to how to dress for the journey from coastal ease to city elegance.

What made the night even more special was who walked the runway. Community leaders, familiar faces, and voices from organizations like , , , , , , alongside local influencers—all coming together not as models, but as a reflection of the community this event has built.

Beyond the runway, the evening unfolded with Italian-inspired dining, live entertainment, and moments of joy that reminded everyone why we gather like this in the first place. Because at its core, this wasn’t just about fashion—it was about heart. Every ticket, every sponsor, every presence in the room contributed to compassionate care at Cortellucci Hospice Vaughan.

A beautiful reminder that when passion meets purpose, something powerful happens.

The meals we’re still dreaming about, part 1 🇮🇹

1) Dolci at at , Anacapri - A final course that felt like opening a treasure chest—delicate cakes, citrus creams, and jewel-like confections scattered across glass, shimmering in colour, texture, and quiet decadence beneath the Capri sun.
2) Aperitivo at .sorrento - An altar to the sea in every sense—where the sky melts into the horizon and Vesuvius watches quietly as the sun sets over one of the most breathtaking views in Sorrento.
3) Breakfast at - A morning suspended above Rome—espresso in hand, with the Vittoriano glowing in the distance, as the city wakes gently beneath you.
4) Pizza at , Palermo - Where tradition meets invention—choosing between classic, Neapolitan, or Sicilian dough, each bite rooted in heritage yet playfully reimagined.
5) Aperitivo at , Palermo - An elegant pause before the night begins—Michelin-level precision paired with a sweeping view of Teatro Massimo, where Palermo hums just below.
6) Breakfast at - A rare and intimate ritual—set on a private terrace wrapped in citrus and greenery, where the morning unfolds like a quiet Sicilian secret.
7) Garden pastry ravioli at - A walk through Campania in a single dish—seasonal vegetables, wild mushrooms, and delicate pastry layered with contrast, storytelling, and the quiet brilliance of .
8) Lunch at , Capri - A table rooted in purpose—where the philosophy of slow food meets the island’s own olive oil, telling a story of land, patience, and care.
9) Braised short rib at , Montepulciano - Deep, rich, and impossibly comforting—served within a space devoted to wine, where every bite feels like it belongs exactly there.
10) Lemon sorbetto (served in a lemon), Amalfi Coast - Bright, zesty, and sun-soaked—Italy’s simplest pleasures, perfected.
