The Clio Awards had no shortage of strong work this year, but this idea is in a lane of its own.

Sting partnered with Formula 1, but the deal didn’t allow any logo visibility in year one. So they hacked it. Cue DJ Armin van Buuren, social doing its thing, and Leo Burnett India with a brilliant idea.

All centred around the iconic roar of F1 engines.

By turning engine noise into a brand cue, they didn’t just win a Grand Clio, they made an iconic sound unmistakably theirs.

No logos. No visibility. Just a Formula 1 partnership with limits—proof that you don't need to be seen to build a brand. And that’s why this campaign slaps.
