If your name is Janice, Drake wants to apologise in person. 🥂

The rapper is hosting exclusive “Janice-only” apology parties in five cities, including Toronto this Sunday, June 28. The catch? You need a government-issued ID to prove your first name is actually Janice, no nicknames, middle names, or last names allowed.

It all stems from his hit single “Janice STFU” from the ICEMAN album, which just broke Michael Jackson’s record for most No. 1 hits by a male solo artist.

Toronto’s party is rumoured to be at Cactus Club on Adelaide Street West .

A man has died after falling from an escalator at RioCan Empress Walk mall in North York. 🚨

Toronto police responded to the mall shortly after 5 p.m. on Thursday. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say he was not working on the escalator. The incident is not being treated as criminal, but the Ministry of Labour will be investigating.

The mall was evacuated and closed. RioCan says it is fully cooperating with the investigation.

just made WNBA history in Toronto. 🐟🔥

The Tempo guard tied the WNBA single-game scoring record with 53 points in a 125-97 rout of the Los Angeles Sparks on Thursday night.

She matched the record held by A’Ja Wilson (2023) and Liz Cambage (2018), and also tied the single-game three-pointers record with nine threes.

Mabrey finished 17-of-28 from the field, 9-of-18 from deep, and 10-of-12 from the free-throw line, adding six rebounds and two assists in just 34 minutes.

The crowd chanted “We Want Mabrey!” as she checked out with one minute remaining. MVP chants echoed throughout the arena.

🚗 Ontario Cranks It Up: 110 km/h Speed Limits Rolling Out on Major Highways!

The Ford government is expanding 110 km/h zones across more than 900 additional kilometres of provincial highways this summer. Starting June 26 with sections of Hwy 401 and 416 in eastern Ontario, the phased rollout will hit key routes like the QEW, 400, 402, 403, 417 and more through September.

🚗💨 Speeding violations in Toronto have surged by nearly 400% since automated speed cameras were removed in November 2025, according to a new city report.

📈 The report found a 380% increase in drivers travelling 16 km/h or more over the speed limit, with speeding rising at 101 of 104 monitored locations.

🏫 Some of the biggest increases were recorded in school and community safety zones, where cameras had previously been installed.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
