had an amazing time at tonight’s Scadding Cabin shoot! It was a real honour to host the very first lighting workshop ever held in this historic space.

Built in 1794 for John Scadding, the log cabin on the grounds of Exhibition Place is the oldest surviving building in Toronto—a beautiful and inspiring backdrop for our session.

We lit the cabin with a pair of Elinchrom ELC HD PRO 1000s, and the results were incredible. Huge thanks to Lilli for modelling, and to all the amazing photographers who joined us—you made the evening unforgettable!

Thank you to the The York Pioneer and Historical Society (YPHS) they are Ontario’s oldest historical society, and the second-oldest historical society in Canada. It is located in Toronto and operates Scadding Cabin.
