Melissa Jean Clark, Inc.

Melissa Jean Clark, Inc. Melissa is a web developer with a keen eye for classic and “warm minimalist” design. She builds websites that are responsive, accessible, and easy to use.

I am a front-end web developer with a keen eye for clean lines and a classic aesthetic. I build websites that are beautiful, responsive, accessible, and easy to use. I also teach my clients how to confidently update and manage those websites. I usually work in WordPress but the Content Management solution is always what is best for the client. My clients are small business owners, artists, and non

-profits who want more from their website and are excited about the possibilities. I love “warm minimalist” design. I believe in a kind and straightforward approach to teaching and communicating. I have a degree in photography from OCAD and can often be exploring one of Toronto’s many gorgeous libraries. My superpower is Problem Solving. I can find (or create!) an elegant solution to almost any complex problem. Think we’d be a good fit? Want to collaborate? Find out more about my work and process at melissajclark.ca.

🫣 Website Problems! 🫣Oh dear! This has been a bit of a challenge!

I’m so sorry lots of you are having problems uploading your entries for the Magical Worlds Colouring Competition. We’ve discovered an error in the website code that’s causing the issue. Unfortunately, it’s a fairly tricky problem and not an easy fix, but my wonderful web developer Melissa is on the case! 💪🏻

To allow us a few days to sort this,
I’m extending the competition deadline to
➡️➡️WEDNESDAY 27th NOVEMBER 2024 at 23:59pm UK time.

💕 That’s an extra couple of weeks, so everyone will have time to finish their colouring and upload their entries!

Phew! Thank you for bearing with me!

In the meantime, how beautiful is this page from the new book, Magical Worlds, by - it’s making me feel very calm and soothed just looking at it! ☺️💙

Much love, Johanna x

Love this article on my amazing client Amy Porterfield. ☺️

For a very long time, I was afraid to be a boss.

Afraid to call the shots.

Afraid to make the hard decisions.

Afraid to take risks.
. . and so I always worked for someone else. 😫

It felt right. It felt safe. I was the ultimate doer . . . and I was sooooo good at it, too.

But along the way, there was this whisper that eventually became a roar. I heard it over and over again... "Take the leap...just take the freakin' leap."

I eventually listened and over the past 10 years, I've been my own boss. 😂🎉😎

Although there have been SO SO MANY mistakes, I've never looked back.

Today, I'm honored that I get to tell my story for FORBES. (What in the world is my life?!)

👉👉👉 My FORBES feature: www.amyporterfield.com/forbes

However, this feature is about so much more than my story.

It’s about empowering other aspiring female entrepreneurs to step into the possibility that their dream business is closer than they might think.

It’s about crashing right through the glass ceiling and making as much money as you want.

It’s about making more impact than you might ever imagine.

It's about never again needing to feel restricted by someone else’s rules and instead have the freedom to make your own.

That’s why I got into this business and that’s what I want for all entrepreneurs. . . especially the ladies.

This topic is incredibly important!

SO HERE’S A FAVOR I’M ASKING FROM YOU:

Will you share this FORBES feature (after you read it yourself, of course!) so that we can inspire more women to create a life and business they truly desire?

You bet I’m offering an incredible gift as my way of saying thank you. 🙏

Here’s how you can help spread this message:

1. Read + share my Forbes feature (www.amyporterfield.com/forbes) with your audience (email, social media, wherever!)

2. Share a screenshot of your share at: www.amyporterfield.com/forbesshare

3. Receive my unending gratitude, PLUS:

When you share my feature BY FRIDAY, AUGUST 30, you’ll get an exclusive invite to my upcoming workshop "How to Plan Your 2020 Promo Calendar."

Aaaaand, you’ll also be entered to win one of 3 FULL SCHOLARSHIPS in Digital Course Academy. 🎉🎉🎉

The deadline to share is THIS FRIDAY!

So excited about this! Superfein Creative Studio did an amazing job with the design. The new website is secure, mobile-friendly and absolutely beautiful.

I had fun creating several custom Gutenberg blocks for this website. Go Squab recommended Schema markup for movies, restaurants, and theatre. I developed custom blocks so DobbernationLOVES writers can easily add the data.

Check out the category pages for all the gorgeous illustrations too!
