Our first new laser has arrived!

Looking forward to setting it up temporarily on the woodworking side of our shop so that we can start running some laser engraving / cutting orders that some of you have been patiently waiting on for the past few weeks!

Second laser should also be here any day now, as well as our hat press.

Progress has been coming along well in the damaged part of our shop. Last week Priority Restoration took all contents and equipment and discarded, and the interior of it was completely gutted out and cleaned.
Biosweep was in yesterday afternoon and today and ran two full cycles with their equipment throughout the entire building to remove smoke odour and contaminants from the air.

Next step is smoke sealing a few sections of same framing boards that have some charring on them and then re-insulating and re-finishing the interior and replacing windows and doors will be next.

One day at a time in the right direction.

Just wanting to give everyone an update on how things are going here since our shop fire Monday evening.

Since Tuesday morning MB Hydro gave ND Electric the okay to turn our power back on to the woodworking side of our shop that wasn’t affected, which was great news! So we’ve been fully operational on that side of the business since and working on building some projects.

On the laser engraving / cutting side and apparel side of the business, we placed orders today for one new laser and new hat press Friday, which should be here within a couple weeks if not sooner. We’ll be placing an order for our second laser at the beginning of next week soon as we finalize our decision on which model.

We’ve also started ordering some products / materials that we need to fulfill existing orders and new orders coming in.

Friday also had our Ethernet cable in the shop repaired so it’s nice to have our internet / wifi going in there again and not have to stand outside the door to get a signal / service.

Still a long ways to go before everything is all restored and back to normal but every day is a step closer.

We’d like to thank the Treherne Fire Department, Rathwell Fire Department, local EMS Paramedics and RCMP for their quick response to our emergency 911 call for help yesterday evening when we discovered part of our workshop was on fire.

Thankfully nobody was hurt and we caught it fast enough and contained before it got any worse than it already was.

To our amazing customers we apologize for any delays this will cause with current and upcoming orders of yours.

Once we can get power back on, we should be able to keep on working on most of the woodworking / building side of our business as we deal with the clean up and restoration of the damage to our shop.

The laser engraving/cutting and leather / acrylic patch hats & apparel,… side of our business will be significantly impacted though for a little while we’re anticipating, while we get new replacement equipment/ machines in and get set up and back up and running due to the damage that everything in that room suffered.

We’ll be directly reaching out to those that have orders that will be affected in the next few days as we get a better idea of how soon we might be able to get back up and running to fulfill those orders.

Well this was exciting and fun testing out for the first time!

Custom laser engraved our family name on my own Savage .17HMR Black Synthetic Stock.
Love how it turned out!
