Things have been really busy in the studio lately… in the kind of way where I sit back for a second and feel so grateful, but also a little in disbelief (in a good way!!) that this is what my days look like now. It’s kind of wild to think I only stepped back into this full time two months ago (before that, I was part-time, balancing a 9–5 alongside my business until I hit a point where I knew something had to give, and I chose to go all in on this)

Lately my days have been filled with managing client social accounts, creating content for local businesses, and building out brands and websites that feel so true to the people behind them. It means a lot to me to be trusted with that, so I’m really mindful about what I take on. I never want to rush the process or overextend myself, because I care deeply about the work I’m putting out and the results my clients are getting. Your success truly is my top priority, always.

If you’re not following along with this is your sign. I have so many beautiful projects in the works for this next quarter, and I’m really excited for everything that’s coming 😍

Introducing the new look for .kitsilano ✨

Working with on this felt like one of those instant we get each other situations. From the start, everything just clicked. We leaned into a modern, neutral vibe that feels elevated, clean, and really true to her vision. This was one of those projects where things just flowed (we love that!!!!) and bringing it all to life is always my favorite part 🤍 Still not over how this one turned out🥹 congrats Annie + PL team! 🫶❤️

Last night I went to a women’s networking event and I found it to be positive and inspiring and just what I needed.

Hearing other local women share their stories and their wins was amazing, but what really stuck with me was the honesty behind it all, especially from the moms running businesses. Someone asked, “how do you do it all?” and one of them said, “I don’t,” and that just hit. It felt very relatable. Because I think social media can make it feel like everyone has everything together all the time, when in reality there are hard days and messy days and moments where things just don’t get done. And that doesn’t mean you’re failing, it just means you’re human. So if you’ve been comparing yourself to what you see online, this is just a little reminder that you’re not always seeing the full picture. Just keep going, keep building something you love, and trust that you’re on your own path, exactly where you’re meant to be🫶

Think of it this way, Instagram is the highlight reel. Your website is the home you actually own. One is rented space (and let’s be honest… the algorithm can be a little unpredictable LOL if you know you know!) while the other is your fully branded, fully controlled digital HQ. I see this all the time… beautiful brands relying only on social media, missing out on the depth, credibility, and conversions a website brings.
