🥀 ILLUSTRATION ART

💫 I am on a third week of my Illustrator course and to say it is hard is not to say anything.

💫 It takes hours to create a simple illustration. Sometimes tools are just not listening to me and I have to re-watch the tutorial or search for YouTube explanation again 😅. And OMG...even if i have an idea in my head, on the screen it looks so different because I do not know how to draw 🙄

💎 But the process is soo interesting and exciting that I do not care about all the issues I have now. I guess its how everyone starts and hopefully by the end of the course I would be able to do amazing illustrations like the artists I adore ❤ Its just a matter of not giving up.

P.S: doing illustration feels like doing meditation 🧘‍♀️ because you are so focused and so deep inside of you head that nothing can distract you and hours can go by so fast. Do you also feel this way when doing illustrations?:)

15 days in ILLUSTRATOR🌷

What does it feel like to open illustrator for the first time? You feel fear, lack of confidence and a feeling that you will never ever learn this. I wanted to give up few minutes after I tried to draw something 🤯

💎 The key is to NOT trying learn this program by yourself. Even watching YouTube videos was not enough for me.

💎 I needed guidance, someone i could ask a question if things are not working out and most importantly, someone who can set me a deadline on each task. And my friend .rise.up recommended me a free 4-day course which was soo good that the thoughts of giving up completely disappeared. ( the course was on Russian language, if someone is interested here is their website: https://brush.guru/ ) I could not resist and purchased a full 2 months course with them 😅

💎 Beside this, i also took an amazing free 3-day course from https://smartpeople.pro/case-studies/ where they explained how to do illustration i posted above step by step. This mini course was incredibly helpful. I really recommend to take it. 🙌

💎 there are still soo many things so learn...these 15 days showed only 1/100000 things that can be done and I am supper excited for what will be next 😃 Its just a matter of practicing every day and not giving up:)

Everything is possible in life. But it's not enough only to dream about it. Start doing something. Continue working even if you lost the motivation. Never give up. Stay strong. 👊

A.I Aqua - color of the year 2021 💙

🔍 I spent some time today making a research on colors that will be popular in 2021 and almost all the websites said MUTED colors will be in trend as well as DARK and LIGHT colors combination. For example: black & lime 🖤💚, sea blue & mint or black & red scarlet 😍

👉 The Pantone color of the year 2021 will be A.I Aqua - gorgeous shade of blue that will make any design unique 💟

👌 I cannot wait to try these amazing colors :))

| The most beautiful and cozy season is here 🍁

Only few days ago the temperature is Vancouver has dropped to 6 degrees...and all I want to do these days is stay at home under the blanket, drink hot tea and learn more and more about graphic design 😌

Right now the Illustrator course is in progress as well as few projects

I am so in love with this life 💕

🏘 REAL ESTATE BROCHURE

📍 First time of using InDesign program. It honestly took few longs days and lots of hours of YouTube tutorials on how to use basic tools in InDesign. To create a simple brochure - 5 hours ⌛ and so much struggles 🥴

🔎 To compare IDesign to my lovely Canva...well..Canva is sooo much easier. It's super user friendly and allows you to create great design in minutes. It has great image and icon stock, allows to download print-ready files and can remove background from the photos.

🤔 So why everyone is so obsessed with InDesign? And if graphic design cannot exits without these complicated programs..well..then challenge accepted 😈

After 7-days of free trial I have decided to take the challenge and subscribed to all Adobe programs including Illustrator and InDesign 😝 Cannot wait to learn all the great things these programs can offer :)))

HOW TO IMMIGRATE TO CANADA? 🇨🇦

📍Everyone knows that Canada is ranked as one of the best countries to live and work in. AND THIS IS SO TRUE!  No doubt so many foreigners are choosing Canada as the place to call home and dreaming about permanently moving here. But please, DO NOT RUSH into packing your suitcase and jumping on the first plane! ( yes, I know people who have done this and they hoped they would figure out everything on the go...gues what...they did not). 

‼️ Before moving to Canada you need to have a detailed plan and have steps you MUST follow to successfully get a desired Canadian passport. There are lots of ways and programs and every program has a different set of rules depending on the province you want to live in.  I will tell you my own story, struggles, and success that I experienced during my 7-year of legal ( i did not marry a Canadian for the passport 😅)  immigration process. 

📍 So how did it all start? 
When I came to Canada ( 🇺🇦from Ukraine) I was 18 years old and it was not my choice. One day my mom called me and said that they have decided to give me a proper future and gave me a choice between Canada and Australia. Well...being a silly 18 years old I did not make the research. The only thing I knew is that Australia had lots of spiders 🕷 ( and I hate spiders) and that Toronto was close to New York ( my desired travel destination). The decision where to move was made the same day based on those 2 factors!  Of course, it’s Canada! 🇨🇦

📍 Okay, I know the country...so what’s next? Where to go and how to start? Just because I was too young without skilled job experience, without a university degree, my only way to immigrate was through Canadian education.
‼️ Very important point: College or University has to be only PUBLIC with a minimum 2-year program. Some private colleges might seem very interested and appealing - BUT DO NOT GO THERE! According to immigration rules - only public colleges will be counted as a “Canadian degree”. After finishing private school the government will say to you goodbye.
