My first startup collapsed in 2020.
I lost a 20+ person company at just 21…
Running a real estate tech company with a co-founder I barely knew.
When COVID hit, real estate froze and the business fell apart.
In the chaos of splitting everything up, one of the employees gave me a Baby Groot pencil holder as a goodbye gift.
It just sat there on my desk, holding pens while I figured out what to do with my life.
Meanwhile, my accountant kept calling me every day:
“You need a new company name.”
“You can’t invoice clients without it.”
One day, on a whim, I said: “Baby Groot.”
I thought there was no way I’d get it, Marvel owns everything, right?
But luck had it… the name was available!
Within 48 hours, I had registered the company, bought the domain, and begun a new chapter.
What started as a random pencil holder…
Has now grown into a global design business.
🌱 We’ve supported 50+ therapists, coaches, entrepreneurs and wellness founders.
🌱 Our designs have helped clients boost engagement by 60%+.
🌱 And we’ve built a powerful all-female team that runs on trust.
And that’s why I share stories like this.
Not just about design. But about resilience, trust, and the messy journey of building my business.
👉 If you’re a coach, therapist, or wellness founder building your own path,
I’d love for you to follow my journey here.
We might be growing different things, but the soil is the same. 🌱
