Happy !
As a one-woman business, I know firsthand the challenges that women face in the workplace. This is why I am committed to advocating for gender equity and supporting other women-owned businesses.

This year's theme, , is a reminder that we must work towards creating a world where all women have the same opportunities and access to resources. It calls for us to recognize that equity is not just about treating everyone the same, but rather, it's about giving everyone the resources and support they need to thrive.

So on this International Women's Day, let's celebrate the progress we've made and continue to push for change. Together, we can create a more equitable world for all women. Happy International Women's Day!

I used to 𝗳𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗺𝘆 𝗳𝗹𝗮𝘄𝘀 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝘂𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜’𝗺 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝘁.
Wasted tons of my time to perfect something that doesn’t' come natural and easy to me. 🤦‍♀️

🤔 So what do you do with your weaknesses?

First step is to admit you are not good at something.
Then look for the solution.
Is there someone who can help you?
Even better. Let them help you.

Five years ago, I was standing at the top of the world, literally. I was visiting one of the New Seven Wonders -⛰ Machu Picchu.
 
Fresh out of school, I packed my bags (and my husband) and off we went on an adventure. ✈️
It was life-changing.
 
Magical ✨
 
Cool, right?
 
But then..
What you don't see...
 . my feet were completely wet from knees down! 🙈
 
My feet were swimming in my shoes, not kidding!
 
💦 It was raining like crazy in the morning but we hiked in that weather all the way to “The Sun Gate” and back.

I spent the whole day in wet shoes and it took a toll on me. I got seriously sick two days later.
 
But we had so many plans! I really didn’t want it to end just like that (me stuck in bed) 🥺
 
How many of us have been there? You a plan and life throws you a curve ball, it all goes awry, yikes!
 
The lesson I learned from my trip to Macchu Picchu….

✅ Don't give up at the first obstacle.
 
✅ Some things are worth doing over and over even if life puts up some (serious) obstacles.
 
✅ Regardless of the path you decide to pursue, or how much you plan ahead, know that you will encounter uncertainty and even failure.
 
Expect it.
 
And Learn from it.
 
You will become stronger if you don’t give up. 💪
 
Keep these thoughts in mind when you are working on your business, writing your book or dealing with clients.
 
There won't be always sunshine, lollipops and rainbows.

I sought medical help, got better and we finished our trip strong and made sure most of our plans worked out in the end! 🤩
 
📖 I've even been thinking I might make a book about it, because, you know.. if life gives you lemons, make lemonade! 🍋

Help! My book is not selling on Amazon.
Hands up who’s been having this problem. 🙋‍♀️

Marketing your book is much easier if you have a book cover that is branded - the reason your book isn't selling is because your cover is wrong for the market.

I know I know.. people judge the book by its cover… 📘

Well yeah, pretty much. We all do this. It’s all about packaging. Unless you are J.K. Rowling or Stephen King, we all will be checking (ehem, judging) your book visually. If your book cover looks like it was done in MS Paint, then don’t be surprised.
Ask me how not to make this mistake. 😉

When you read a book, you get to live another story.

You can transform yourself into the main character.

When I was reading Harry Potter, I disappeared into a story.
I escaped from day to day life into a magical place. The magic truly happens when we are reading the book.

Yikes! I’m biting my nails 😬 I did something completely different..

My May setup is quite graphic, inspired by 𝚖𝚒𝚍-𝚌𝚎𝚗𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚢 𝚖𝚘𝚍𝚎𝚛𝚗!

I gravitated towards ’60s, more earth-toned hues but I fixed them with acrylographs. Their pens have nice muted colours. However, I didn’t have the right shade of blue so I cheated with some
