Music right to our ears 🎶💽
Do you know what your customer's problem areas are?
In the beauty and wellness industry more often than not, we can best describe these as symptoms.
When it comes to selling your services or promoting your brand on social, you 👏🏽GOTTA👏🏽 focus on these.
When you lead with the solution (aka. "Hey guys check out our brand new product with XYZ ingredients!" or "Come on in to try ABC service"), vs. the problem areas (hyperpigmentation, acne, dryness, oil, tension) you are not attracting anyone because the individual no longer sees themselves within your post.
You're not speaking directly to what they're going through.
This is why it's important to follow my sandwich method (not official but it helps you visualize it so let's go with it! 😁):
This is an easy way to help your customer see themselves in your posts,
🥪HOOK | Start with a question or hook about a scenario your customer goes through that will lead to your solution (eventually)
🥪STORY/REAL LIFE SCENARIO | Talk about a time you or someone you helped went through a similar situation. Setting the stage here with a story works really well!
🥪SOLUTION/BREAK-THROUGH | Talk about what the solution was and weave in your recommendations
🥪 SELL BABY | Insert a call to action to drive sales or engagement
In this method you notice we have sandwiched the problem, followed it with a solution, and tied it neatly with a ribbon at the end with a CTA.
Now, this works REALLY well for beauty transformations!
If you try this method, tag me on your post so I can come give it some love 💛
Happy Sunday! 🧘♀️
