Silver Fox Postering is a grassroots advertising service. The company president and founder, Josh Garvin, got his start in the industry in Castlegar, BC, at the age of 15. He began putting up posters to advertise for his own music shows, and became a local promoter due to a demand for his services. After moving to Vancouver, he continued to poster and promote shows, and has been runnin
g this company on and off since 2003. The company has taken many forms and, in 2013, when he launched it again by popular demand, his common-law partner, Kristl Buckland stepped in as financial and administrative manager. About our page:
We created this page to give people an easy access to using our services. This page is also a resource to promote local happenings around the city. Feel free to post local arts & entertainment events to this page. What our outdoor distribution service looks like:
People passing by can see and touch your ad as it appears in multiple different locations every day, captivating the interest of people walking by the poster poles and construction spaces around this city. The poster spaces keep people informed of local events and activities while lending culture, creativity and community to our streets. What our indoor distribution service looks like: patrons to local businesses can see your materials on notice boards and indoor poster walls. They can pick up one of your flyers from a notice board or shelf while passing by, or while awaiting service. It keeps people informed and entertained. You might brighten a person's day when they're waiting in a line-up or sipping a coffee and they see the notification, or pick up a flyer and realize it's something they're excited to participate in. We value kindness and generosity and it's important to us that we are a contribution to our community. We sponsor events and offer reduced rates on our outdoor distribution services for benefits and non-profits as well as free services to those who are putting up notices for missing persons. How do you get your posters to us? Please contact Josh by phone 604-440-9675, or send us a private message by clicking the message button on this page and we will arrange a time and location for pick-up / drop-off. Due to the fact that we operate our business from home, our office location has not been made public. We generally require drops-offs, but exceptions can be made and we will do pick-ups from East Van Graphics printing company.

What our services include/exclude:
Outdoor Distribution: We offer poster distribution services: we post notices on outdoor spaces provided by the City of Vancouver and on construction wall spaces where permitted. Indoor Distribution: We offer poster and/or flyer distribution services. We distribute and/or post materials inside businesses and on public notice boards outside of stores and community centers where permitted. We do not do offer printing or poster design services. Feel free to ask us for recommendations on printing companies. Posters and flyers must be dropped off unless we have agreed to other arrangements prior to accepting the contract.
