Atelier TARA is a luxury bordeaux wine produced in the Black Sage Belt of the southern Okanagan. Cool starry nights, dry desert air and long growing days contribute to its unique terroir. This wine is limited to 1000 cases.

To capture its essence, we developed the name TARA (light in the sky) with a new logo & identity. We then designed the custom packaging. The stars were hand illustrated and then screen printed onto the bottle directly. This reflects the craft and care taken into producing this exceptional wine.

How do you bring humanity to a global charity most people rarely see?

We recently partnered with Effect Hope—a Toronto based nonprofit working across regions like Africa, Bangladesh, and India—to rethink how their story reflects their global mission.

This project was more than a new website, it became a platform to present a clearer, more human way to communicate the work—and the people—behind it.

From shaping the narrative and refining donor pathways to creating a more approachable design and visual language, every decision was about one thing:
Making the connection stronger and more emotive.

Receiving Silver for both marks our first major international recognition for brand packaging. While the projects greatly differed, our process remained the same: clear strategy, disciplined design and artwork production built to stand out confidently in competitive markets.

Congratulations to our client team at Minto on the successful launch of the new York Mills & Leslie townhome development in Toronto.

This project brought together strategy, design, and implementation at every level — from developing a refreshed brand identity and positioning strategy for 142 new townhomes, to crafting cohesive brand standards, perimeter hoarding, and entrance signage for the three existing towers.

We also created a series of custom illustrations inspired by the community’s history — integrated as large-scale lobby murals across the property — and designed a multi-channel advertising campaign to support the launch.

To streamline future marketing, Coastlines built a digital template system in Canva, empowering Minto’s in-house team to manage and update their own creative. The toolkit included ready-to-use formats for Google Paid, On Demand, Organic & Paid Social, and Email campaigns — ensuring brand consistency across every touchpoint.

A huge thanks to the entire Minto team for the partnership, collaboration, and trust.

The brand challenge

Nonfiction approached us with a clear mission: to create a new protein bar brand that represented 100% real protein with all-natural ingredients and no additional additives. The goal was twofold; to stand out in an industry flooded with options and, communicate their dedication to quality, transparency and choice.

Solution

We developed a brand identity and messaging strategy that speaks to the brand's commitment to real ingredients. We designed a product packaging system that visually captures the essence of their mission, offering something fresh, modern and distinct to a discerning health-oriented and active demographic. Atelier Tara is a new winery located in the Black Sage Belt of the Southern Okanagan, an area celebrated not only for its unique terroir but also for its breathtaking night skies filled with stars. Inspired by the meaning of the word “Tara,” which translates to “luminary” or “star,” the client sought a brand identity and packaging program that would reflect this celestial theme.

We designed an identity that is both versatile and highly recognizable. Then three gold stars as our emblem. The logo’s clean design ensures it translates beautifully across various applications, with a primary focus on the wine bottles and website.

To symbolize the night sky, we created a dynamic design that immerses the viewer in the concept of stars. Rather than a traditional label, we opted for artwork directly printed onto the bottle. This allowed the stars to appear as though they were floating off the bottle’s surface, enhancing the tactile experience. The logo was applied in a subtle matte gold to integrate seamlessly into the sky, elevating the luxury and sophistication of the design.

Coastlines rebrands Ndevor Projects

Ndevor has built a strong reputation in providing project management and contracting services to both luxury residential and commercial contracting projects. They needed their brand to reflect their position in the industry as a provider of bespoke projects for discerning clientele. This called for a brand audit, competitive analysis and strategy with a brand narrative and messaging.

We rebranded Ndevor Custom Contracting as simply Ndevor Projects. The rebrand included business forms, onsite signage design and comprehensive brand guide. In addition, we developed a new website to showcase their projects and outline their approach and services.

The result has been transformative and the client immediately landed a large residential project. In addition, there is no confusion or need to explain what they do. Their goal of targeting family offices, luxury hospitality clients and exclusive residences has been achieved.
