Can’t believe it’s that time of year again! starts tonight and we’re stoked to have worked on the campaign for another festival season. This campaign builds off of some brand development work we’ve done over the past year, while being inspired by classic marquee signage.

Hope you get a chance to catch a flick or two! 🎥

New work starting to roll out!📚

Last year we got the chance to work with another one of Vancouver’s premier arts and culture organizations – the Vancouver Writers Fest! We spent the better part of 2020 working with them to help better define their brand and streamline their visual identity. Without throwing away what’s come before it, we worked together to elevate their brand into something that was reflective of their mission as well as scalable and adaptable to the multi-faceted organization.

If you haven’t, we suggest you give them a follow as and check out all the great stuff they have going on year round.

Full case study to come.

Outside of our yearly work with the Vancouver Film Festival, we were happy to play a small part in creating a few pieces of artwork for their brand new festival centre. Instead of something that was overtly branded, we aimed to design something that compliments the space while embracing the festivals history as well as sense of place. Hopefully you’re all able to see these in person sooner than later!

We were honoured to be asked to share a bit about our office and what we do for the 2020 Design Thinkers conference, presented by . While we would have loved to have people come through in person, that obviously wasn’t possible this year so a little video was the next best thing. If you’re registered for the conference, that will be shown first thing Friday morning. Otherwise, we’ll be posting it after that!
