We said what we said. 👀

Some marketing habits should’ve been left behind a long time ago, so naturally, we made a carousel about them.

Is it a little shady? Maybe. Are we wrong? You tell us.

Your turn: WTF is __________ in marketing?

Bad briefs, chaotic meetings, outdated advice, and things people still call “strategy” are all fair game. Drop yours in the comments.

When everyone starts doing the same thing, we know it’s time to do something different.

AI is a tool, and a great one. But visibility also comes from ideas that break the pattern.

I work with archetypes, storytelling, creative writing, and strategy to build brands that get noticed, remembered, and chosen.

Want to know how to apply this to your brand and get results, both organically and through paid ads?

Message me. I’ll explain.

Good taste gets attention.
Consistency makes a brand memorable.
Strategy makes it the choice.

To us, chic digital marketing happens when branding, SEO, content, and conversion all speak the same language.

Now finish this sentence: I think it’s chic when a brand… 👀

Okay, Canada. How do you take your coffee?

Black? Double-double? One cream? Latte? Oat milk? Iced, even when it’s -10°C outside? 👀

Coffee is one of those everyday things we rarely think about.

We just order it.

But that simple order can say a lot about our habits, routines, preferences and sometimes even the places and communities we belong to.

That’s what I find fascinating about local marketing.

We spend so much time creating personas, defining demographics and choosing targeting options that we can forget something incredibly simple: people live somewhere.

And “somewhere” has its own habits, language, references, expectations and ways of doing things.

What feels completely normal in Vancouver might feel different in Toronto. What works in a big city might not connect the same way in a smaller community.

Good local marketing starts by noticing those differences.

Sometimes in search data.

Sometimes in customer conversations.

And apparently, sometimes in a cup of coffee. 😂☕

So, I want to run a very unofficial Sirène coffee survey in the comments:

📍 Where are you from?
☕ And what’s your exact coffee order?

I believe there are two very different conversations when it comes to doing business.

The first one happens before any contract is signed. That's when we get to know each other. It's the time to understand your business, your goals, your challenges, and to figure out whether Sirène is the right partner for you.
That's exactly why I offer a free 30-minute Strategy Session.

Then there's a second conversation. It begins when you're ready to turn questions into decisions, ideas into a plan, and strategy into measurable results. That's where consulting comes in.

Because real strategy isn't created in five minutes over a WhatsApp message, or a quick DM.

It's built on years of learning, experience, mistakes, successes, research, and real-world practice.

That's why I always like to be transparent about one thing: there's a free space for us to get to know each other. And there's a professional space where we build strategy together. Each has its own purpose.

When those two moments are respected, everyone benefits. You get better guidance, better decisions, and a clearer path forward. And I get the opportunity to deliver my best work and the full value of my expertise.

So, if you're thinking about strengthening your online presence, improving your brand positioning, or simply figuring out what the next step should be for your business, send me a DM. Let's start with the right conversation.

I was born in 1977, but it was the '80s that taught me some of the lessons I still carry today.

That a bicycle meant freedom.
That a cardboard box could become a spaceship.
That the neighbourhood was our social network.
And that taking a photo was an event—not something we did 50 times a day.

There was no Google, no Wi-Fi, no smartphones, no algorithms telling us what to watch next.

But there was something that feels surprisingly rare today: TIME.

Time to play, to imagine, to get bored, time to create.

Today I work with marketing, technology and AI, and I use artificial intelligence almost every single day.

But growing up in the '80s taught me something technology never replaced: HUMAN CONNECTION.

At the end of the day, people don't connect with pixels.
They connect with stories.

Maybe that's why I love branding so much. Because before there were brands, there were people.
Before there was content, there were memories.
And long before algorithms decided what mattered, there were moments that still make us smile decades later.

Thank you, '80s, for teaching me that the best stories are rarely planned.

Maybe that's exactly why we never forget them.

We grow older. The best stories never do. ❤️
Now it's your turn. What's one memory from your childhood that instantly came back while scrolling through this carousel?

Tell me in the comments. 👇

June, dumped. 🇧🇷🍁

While Brazil kept moving forward in the World Cup... sometimes with talent, sometimes with pure survival mode. 😅
Life kept moving here too.

Between one match and another, there was coffee, brainstorming, wew websites taking shape, clients saying, "let's start", meetings, mentorship, therapy, learning, friends, laughs

A little homesickness.
And a little piece of Brazil on this side of the continent.
Because the truth is: the World Cup may pause a lot of things.
But dreams keep playing.
Maybe that was June's biggest lesson: we don't always win beautifully.
Sometimes we win because we keep showing up.

July is already around the corner.
With new projects, new partnerships, new ideas and, hopefully, some really good stories to tell here.

See you in July. 💙
