⚫ Our Client: Restaurant App
In preparation for the launch of our client's app, we are seeking to develop a media kit that will populate their social media, website, and app assets to name a few. Therefore, we are seeking to capture the lifestyle and environment of how this app will transform the restaurant businesses. Some of our production will be in our studio located in Delta, other locations will be at various restaurants and bars in downtown Vancouver. The goal is to capture an authentic experience with a restaurant app that creates a better customer experience in the dining industry.

⚫ Who Are We Looking For?
Diversity is important to us, so we encourage applicants of all ages, genders, ethnicities, ranges of height / weight and members of the LGTBQ community. We seek to capture a variety of people who typically enjoy either a fun night out with their friends, a family dinner, or a corporate / business meeting for a cocktail.

Actors / Actresses & Models Requirements
Minimum 1 year of experience

⚫ Compensation
This is contingent upon your experience. This can range from $25 / hour - $100 / hour. The production is over the course of three days, and based on your portfolio we may select you for either 1, 2 or all 3 days: January 28th, 29th & 30th. You may be required from 2 hours - 8 hours per day, depending on the role you've been allocated to.

For up coming models and actors, that need to expand their portfolios and experience, we also welcome volunteer positions for to further your career. We will be using cinematic RED cameras that are often used on Hollywood sets, which can add great value to your acting or modelling portfolio.

WHAT WE OFFER

Evolve X is a non-profit organization supporting environmental, cleantech and humanitarian startups, organizations, philanthropies and any business that makes people’s lives better. All while giving students and recent grads the hands-on experience they need to advance their careers. We are the bridge between talented professionals who need to add depth and diversity to their portfolios, and businesses who seek branding support. We often come across great web developers and great businesses, so we decided to bridge this gap with Evolve X.

We give our people access to Mixed Reality devices, such as the Hololens 2 to innovate in completely new technologies. We also use Virtual Reality Sets, which us the HTC Vive Pro, and Tracking technology to create immersive Unreal Engine powered environments, making any location possible, even during COVID.

We also offer a film studio location located in Ladner, British Columbia, steps away from the Ladner Bus Exchange, and Free Parking.

WHY WE DO IT

We have a generation of talented designers and film producers who are completely unprepared for the real world. While the educational system may give them the skill sets, it does not give them real-life experience. Oftentimes when they seek employment, employers will ask to see their portfolios, only to find hypothetical examples from school projects or very few unknown businesses they’ve actually worked on. This puts the film producers on a long path of unemployment, or on very low paying salaries (due to the lack of experience) and ultimately discouraging them from pursuing film as a career. We hate to see great talent go to waste, so we want to give them the opportunity to be found. Evolve X makes it possible to pursue a career of your passion by bridging this gap between education and employment.

Evolve X also serves as a hotbed for hiring at Evolve Branding, a top-ranked Experience and Brand Development agency located in Vancouver. Top performers in Evolve X get ongoing contracts, and full-time positions at the agency.

WHAT IS EVOLVE X

Evolve Branding launched Evolve X program, to connect interns from all over the world with startups, foundations, and non-profit organizations. It bridges the gap for students seeking experience for employment, and for businesses, foundations, and organizations who seek branding support but lack the resources, or haven’t gotten around to the task.

Evolve X also serves as an educational center, giving interns access to all necessary resources to fulfill their tasks. Interns are also able to gain credits to graduate from their studies, and points on the program to graduate to paid internship opportunities within Evolve Branding and businesses seeking their experience. This is a lucrative opportunity for students to determine their career paths and build experience while helping small businesses and philanthropies get a head start in their ventures.
