I finished working on a 2007 American Tug yesterday. I polished and waxed the topside. I compounded, polished and then waxed the haul. The non skid came out beautifully with starbrite non skid cleaner!

Happy Father’s Day to this great dad who sparked my love for boating and the water. I was in the boat before I could even crawl. When it would get rough in the Gap (open body of water on Georgian Bay), I would be fast asleep in my car seat. I would drive the boat on my dad’s lap and eventually by myself to and from the cottage. Today, my dad and I will chat about the boats I am working on. He knows more about the mechanics of boats, but is still interested and supportive. Thanks for always being there poppa ❤️

Another Dufour clean ✅ in the market for a mid size 36 ft sailboat? Contact for more information! Here is a tip for washing down a boat. NEVER use any brush, even if it’s a soft bristle, on the windows! Dirt accumulates in the brush which will scratch your windows. Spray the windows down with water and afterwards, use a clean microfibre cloth with vinegar and water.
