Are the rumours true? Is Instagram prioritizing photo content over reels again?

The truth is, Instagram is shifting its focus back to photos in 2023 after admitting they “over focused on videos” in 2022. With the growth of Tik Tok over the years, Instagram tried to switch its focus to promote more reels and become less of a photo sharing app. Now the focus has switched again, bringing us through a whirl wind 🌀

The CEO of Instagram recognizes Instagrams uniqueness lies in the variety of content you can share in one place. So, keep sharing your reels, keep sharing your photos, and honestly just keep sharing whatever makes you happy 🫶🏼

This past October, I celebrated my one year in business 🥂

You’re probably wondering why I’m posting now and not then. This past October I was in an extremely bad place personally, and didn’t feel comfortable or even deserving of celebrating a major milestone in my business. Now looking back a few months later, I realized that I should celebrate milestones, no matter what. No matter how delayed I may be, no matter what I go through personably, no matter how alone I feel, I realized it’s okay to celebrate when you’re ready.

And whats why I’m here, not to only celebrate ONE WHOLE YEAR of Triple One Marketing, but to let other people know that even if it’s months late, it’s ok to celebrate your milestones with people you know who care.

To my clients, friends, family, and supporters on this page, thank you. From the bottom of my heart 💗

I wouldn’t have made it to one year without all of you.

Keep reading for THREE tips to growing your brand as a Social Media Manager 👇🏼

1. Always invest in learning! Working in social media, you have to constantly keep up with trends and be super tech savvy.
Enrol in new courses, classes, or you can watch YouTube videos for tips!

2. Show your work visually on all platforms. Even if you are a brand new SMM and have no client work to show, create your own practice portfolio work and show potential clients what you’re capable of! It’s all about that visual representation 👏🏼

3. Collect as many testimonials as you can, and don’t be afraid to share them. Potential clients will trust and rely on these testimonials!
