Marketing has lost its way.
And most marketers don’t even notice.

I’ve worked in marketing since 1998. I’ve built strategies for global brands and startups-
across brand marketing, performance marketing, and everything in between.

And here’s what I’ve seen:
In the last years, marketing has changed. And with that the role of the marketer.

The focus has shifted.
→ Everything needs to be measurable.
→ Everything needs to be fast.
→ Everything needs to be more “efficient” with AI.

But in that chase for short-term results,
we’re losing what actually builds brands:
→ understanding people
→ storytelling that touches hearts
→ recognizable branding
→ creating emotional meaning for customers

I see less of that every day,
and more noise that doesn’t move anyone.

Yes, it might sell in the short term.
But it’s not building brand equity.
It’s not building trust.
It’s not building a future.

That’s why I don’t see myself as just a marketer, or just a brand builder.

What I do is Brand strategy.
And strategy is what connects
Marketing and Branding.
Vision to action.
Long-term to short-term.
Brand to business.
Meaning to momentum.
