If you run paid ads, this is the leak nobody shows you in a report.

You pay for every person who reaches your quote form. Some of them start filling it in, type their name and phone number, then get pulled away and close the tab before pressing submit.

Most forms only record a lead when submit is pressed. That includes the default forms in most website builders and CRMs. So the enquiry is gone, your ad platform counts it as nothing, and you paid for a visitor who was halfway to becoming a customer.

Our forms save the contact details while they are being typed. About two minutes after that person leaves, their name and number are in your CRM, and someone on your team can call them back while the job is still on their mind.

Why it matters for anyone buying ads: these are the warmest people you paid for and never heard from. Recovering them means more leads from the same ad spend.

Partial capture like this usually takes a paid add-on or custom development, which is why most businesses and most agencies never set it up. We built it into every form we run for our clients.

A Meta change worth checking before Black Friday.

If you set a campaign to go after new customers only, Meta now pre-fills the existing-customer audiences to exclude. It's guessing, and the guesses can be incomplete or just wrong. Some of the audiences it picks may not be your customers at all.

So if you're running a new-customer campaign this quarter, open the excluded audiences and set them yourself. Otherwise you could be shutting out people you want, or paying to reach people who already bought.

$80,188 in attributed revenue from $19,217 of ad spend, and that's only what the pixel could see.

A lead gen account, thirteen months, 1,373 leads at $14 each. Search ads were already running and working. The question was whether paid social could add volume without wrecking the cost per lead. Launch quarter to latest: spend per month up 56%, leads per month up 42%, cost per lead up 11%. A trade we made on purpose.

That revenue comes from 36 purchases the pixel could track. Most of the selling happens on the phone or in person, so it's a fraction of what the business actually closed from those leads. Cost per lead tells you what the ads cost. Follow the lead to quoted and sold to see what they made.

Hockey and basketball seasons are starting, so this one's for anyone selling a schedule rather than a single date.

A season isn't one campaign. It's dozens of separate sell-through problems, and the dates that need help are never the ones that sell themselves.

What that means in practice:
1. Put the budget on the soft midweek dates, not the ones that sell out on their own.
2. Run season ticket holders and people who've never been as separate campaigns. Different message, and they shouldn't bid against each other.

That's how the two clubs in our ticketing case study were run: $124,815 in attributed ticket revenue from $4,182 of ad spend.

If you're planning your season's marketing, get in touch.

$33,073 in attributed revenue from $6,824 of ad spend.

That's four months for an ecommerce brand in a category the platforms restrict, where a lot of the usual playbook isn't allowed and plenty of creative never clears review. Small account, never scaled. Push spend in a category like that and the return usually collapses.

Instead, monthly spend went from $736 to $2,306 and return on ad spend went from 2.04x to 6.76x.

How: creative built to pass review instead of appealing rejections, conversions sent server side, and spend raised in steps, holding each level until the return held.

Every client we run gets a report they didn't have to ask for. Spend, results, cost per result, what changed since last week. Same day every week, good news or bad.

You shouldn't be chasing your agency to find out what your money did. If you're chasing, that's the answer.

Your best ad next quarter is probably an ad you already have.

Find the one people actually watch to the end, keep the body and the offer, and give it a new opening. That's it.

Cheaper than a shoot day and it works far more often than it has any right to.

Question worth answering this week: how long is it, right now, between someone filling in your form and a human saying their name back to them?

Most people don't know. That's usually the problem.

Go find the number. It's almost always the cheapest thing on the list to fix.

Two local baseball clubs. Same week, same platform, same people running them.

One turned $423 into $11,682. The other turned $207 into $2,753.

Both good weeks. But 27x and 13x are very different numbers, and the difference was mostly audience size and how long each account had been running.

Keep that in mind next time you see somebody's screenshot on here. You're seeing the number, not the eight months of account history underneath it.

We build the landing page, the form, the follow-up and the reporting ourselves.

Not because we want to be a software company. Because every handoff between two tools is somewhere leads go missing, and we got tired of being the ones who found them three weeks later.

If you've got a feeling your leads are landing somewhere nobody checks, that's fixable. Message us.
