Last two issues of Douglas included features I pitched, researched and wrote! Very proud of both “Making it Here” exploring manufacturing on Vancouver Island and just this week “Keeping it in Canada” asking if Canadian Intellectual Property leaves the country too soon.

Great turnout for the IWIST - Vancouver Island Women in Science & Technology holiday AGM. At Hatley Castle Dec 12. I donated a full day of media spokesperson training for seven attendees! What’s nice is how each draw prize had its own basket for tickets so you know the winners wanted the prize 🥳👌
