For anyone who has leftover items from their Yard Sale, Tyrrell Baptist Church is collecting donations for their Yard Sale on July 1st.

Proceeds will go to The Norfolk Family Pregnancy Centre.

Looks like mother nature is only going to partially cooperate today. Hopefully the rain coming doesn't hit hard or for long and hopefully everyone has a wonderful yard sale day!

I know the forecast doesn't look promising for this Saturday but I am not going to cancel the day. I know some sales will go regardless of the weather, some may set up Sunday and others will wait until next weekend.

I've been asked by multiple people if I'm going to cancel it but the risks I see are:
1. What if it's cancelled and it ends up being a sunny day?
2. What if we postpone and then it rains next saturday?

As everyone is aware, this event has been advertised for months, with a lot of address collecting and coordination so it isn't too easy to change it.

If anyone would like to cancel their own yard sale on Saturday, I completely understand.

Let's all just keep our fingers crossed that mother nature cooperates and let's all have an amazing day regardless!

ADDRESSES HAVE BEEN COLLECTED AND THE DATE IS SET!!

Join us Saturday, June 6th for Waterford's 6th Annual Town Wide Yard Sale!!

We have 117 different addresses hosting in and around town as well as local businesses setting up! I have included a separate section for addresses just outside of town as well as a section for businesses.

If your address did not make the list, do not fret as there is a sale on nearly every street in town! If you are not on the list, set up anyway as I am sure you will get traffic.
If your address is on the list and you have a change of plans, also do not fret. Simply do not set up and shoppers can just skip over your property.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL:
All addresses are welcome to set their own start and finish times. Usually it is recommended to be up and open for business at 8am at the latest and last year, most sales were completed by about 1pm.

Lastly, I encourage yard sale hosts to still put out their own signage. Not everyone is on Facebook and not everyone has seen the posts and the flyers, so the more traffic we can bring in to the sales, the better!

Please like and share this post to as many people and as many pages as you can. I will try to get it on a number of local buy and sell pages as well.

SAVE THE DATE for this year's Waterford Town Wide Yard Sales! This will be the 6th Annual Town Wide Yard Sale!

I will put out another post on May 1st requesting addresses for everyone hosting a yard sale and will create a list similar to the last few years. Deadline for address submissions will be May 30th. This will allow us time to print the list and distribute it throughout town. If you do miss the cutoff, we will continue to update the online list up until the day of the Yard Sale.

List of addresses and Google Map of addresses will be published the week leading up to the Yard Sale Date.

As we did last year, I will not be coordinating or inviting Food Trucks. This being said, Food Trucks will be more than welcome to attend but if they wish to be included on the list, they just need to let me know their location. In addition, local Businesses are also welcome to participate again this year.
