Because as much as the industry needs to do better — so do we. 👇

We can't expect the market to value staging if we're racing each other to the bottom on price. We can't expect realtors to treat us as experts if we haven't built brands that position us as one. We can't expect clients to understand our value if we've never learned how to articulate it ourselves.

The shift in how this industry is perceived starts with the standards we hold ourselves to.

That's not a criticism. It's a challenge.

Yup, I’m calling you out. 🔥🔥🔥

I’ve heard so many times lately from stagers who tell me that they are ‘so busy’ right now. That they ‘don’t have to’ market. And that they ‘don’t have time.’ 🤦🏼‍♀️

You know what’s on the other side of all that busyness you’re in the midst of? No work. Referrals drying up. New stagers who are marketing, getting the jobs and referrals you were counting on. Not because they are better, but because they are staying top of mind.

How do I know this? Because I lived it. For years. Business was feast or famine. Revenue was unpredictable. Some months were great, others I wondered how I’d pay myself let alone everything else.

That is not a cycle you should be running in your staging business.

And the ‘no time’ thing? Excuses. We make time for what is important. What you are really saying is marketing and visibility isn’t a priority for your business. 🔥

Listen, I get marketing isn’t easy. It eats up chunks of your time that you might feel are better spent staging homes.

But I will tell you that the road to 6-figures is not built on the feast or famine model. It’s built on a model where marketing and lead generation are a part of what you do every week as part of your business activities.

Although that’s pretty exciting if you’ve been marketing on Instagram for awhile now and not gotten any leads or clients from it.

Dishing on the key marketing shift that enabled me to build a 6-figure home staging business. 👀

So many stagers think posting pretty photos is all they need to do to attract attention and get clients.

Trust me, I used to think that too.

And while the photos got attention, they weren’t answering the questions potential clients actually cared about:

“Is staging worth the investment?”
“Will this help my listing sell faster?”
“Why should I hire YOU over another stager?”

That’s when I realized something important:

Pretty photos weren’t enough to position me as the expert.

So I completely changed the way I approached my content.

Instead of only posting the finished result, I started talking about:
✨ the challenges behind the project
✨ the decisions I made
✨ the psychology behind the staging
✨ the ROI behind my recommendations
✨ why certain details mattered in my local market

And at the time? No other stagers were marketing this way.

While everyone else was posting pretty rooms, I was explaining the strategy and expertise behind them.

That shift changed everything for my business.

It’s what got me in the room for opportunities, partnerships, collaborations, and conversations that helped me grow my staging company into a 6-figure business.

Because people weren’t just seeing beautiful spaces anymore.

They were seeing my expertise.

Years later, that approach became the foundation for my Connect + Convert Method, the strategy behind the content plans and marketing approach we use inside The Social Stager Club today.
