Dishing on the key marketing shift that enabled me to build a 6-figure home staging business. 👀
So many stagers think posting pretty photos is all they need to do to attract attention and get clients.
Trust me, I used to think that too.
And while the photos got attention, they weren’t answering the questions potential clients actually cared about:
“Is staging worth the investment?”
“Will this help my listing sell faster?”
“Why should I hire YOU over another stager?”
That’s when I realized something important:
Pretty photos weren’t enough to position me as the expert.
So I completely changed the way I approached my content.
Instead of only posting the finished result, I started talking about:
✨ the challenges behind the project
✨ the decisions I made
✨ the psychology behind the staging
✨ the ROI behind my recommendations
✨ why certain details mattered in my local market
And at the time? No other stagers were marketing this way.
While everyone else was posting pretty rooms, I was explaining the strategy and expertise behind them.
That shift changed everything for my business.
It’s what got me in the room for opportunities, partnerships, collaborations, and conversations that helped me grow my staging company into a 6-figure business.
Because people weren’t just seeing beautiful spaces anymore.
They were seeing my expertise.
Years later, that approach became the foundation for my Connect + Convert Method, the strategy behind the content plans and marketing approach we use inside The Social Stager Club today.
