Wow, I can't believe it's been six years since I represented Canada at Rescue 2016. Competing on the world stage for Lifesaving is possibly the biggest highlight of my career so far.

This goal required me to train 30 hours a week under multiple disciplines, fundraise, network and market myself as an athlete. I love and respect the sport and miss being in the waves every summer.

I think 18-year-old me would be pretty proud because it only went up from there.

It's always hard finishing a chapter of a great book. However, this was one of the most incredible experiences year to date.

I managed not only the Hyivy Social media and content creation but also print marketing, swag creation and team gear. However, I think the best memory was seeing our National women's day booth come together and talking to women proudly wearing a hyivy letterman jacket.

I also had the opportunity to guest lecture for an MBET class on Digital Marketing 101 and why it is essential for their startups.

Not only did I have professional milestones this year but also personal milestones of graduating with my Master's in Business Entrepreneurship and Business from the University of Waterloo. As well, I got married to my best friend.

I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as a User Experience Designer at Hyivy Health! I am proud of all the work and experience gained on the Marketing team. I am excited to go on a new adventure with the Software team and strive to create a better experience for pelvic health patients.
