Hooman Studio Most digital products are built for devices. Most digital products are designed for devices. At Hooman, we design for the people who use them. Our style?

At Hooman, we design for the people who use them—crafting bold, intuitive, scalable experiences with clean interfaces, custom systems, and code that’s sharp, fast, and future-ready. We’re a tight-knit team of designers, developers, and strategists who build digital experiences that feel natural and true. Boldly simple, cleverly designed, and built with precision. We create clean interfaces, intuit

ive navigation, and moments that make users smile. By digging deeper and focusing on the details, we deliver work that goes beyond “good enough.”

What’s under the hood? We prototype quickly and often, so you can interact with a living, breathing version of your product from day one. Each prototype is backed by a custom design system, with every button, component, and pixel carefully shaped to match your brand. Picture a machine built from scratch—every part placed with purpose for smooth performance, letting our developers work faster and with total clarity. We build with battle-tested frameworks like React.js, Next.js, and React Native—the same tech powering platforms like Instagram, Uber, Airbnb, Twitch, Netflix, Shopify, and Notion. Your product won’t just feel sharp; it’s built to scale, load fast, and grow with your users. We are Hooman—a studio where design prioritizes people. Our human-centric approach crafts experiences that feel personal, connect naturally, and matter deeply, because great design isn’t about screens, it’s about the people behind them.

Engineers build with intention. Their work is precise, structured, and deliberate.
So their brand had to feel the same.

A grid as the backbone. Typography as scaffolding. A logo that stands like a cornerstone — guiding, never distracting.

Every element designed to move with purpose. Navigation that disappears until you need it. Motion that feels engineered, not decorative. Space treated like structure, every gap deliberate.

Monochrome clarity, with accents that whisper instead of shout. A presence that feels just as sharp in your hand as it does on a full screen.

It doesn’t just tell their story. It extends their philosophy.
Smarter solutions — down to the last pixel.

A few lines, a splash of color—and suddenly, a whole story. No shadows, no gradients—yet somehow, the message lands brighter than ever.

For An Elegant Mind, we designed a series of flat illustrations that show how simple forms can carry deep meaning. Look at this scene: a circle of figures, pared back yet powerful, saying more about belonging than any tagline could.

We leaned into human connection. Stripping away detail lets posture and gesture do the talking—so the emotion comes through instantly.

That simplicity creates universality. These shapes could be anyone, anywhere. A single drawing becomes a shared story.

It also builds memorable identity. Clean forms and bold color stick in your mind long after you’ve scrolled past.

And because we design systems, not just moments, the real strength lies in consistency. These illustrations expand into a full brand language—socials, website, print—keeping everything cohesive.

At the heart of it all is approachability. Friendly, human, and warm. For An Elegant Mind, flat illustration became more than decoration—it became the voice of the brand.

If humans don’t eat the same meal every day, why should pets?

That single question became the heartbeat of this brand — simple, yet powerful enough to shift how we see pet food.

We carried that freshness into the design. White packaging gave us a canvas of clarity — minimal, uncluttered, letting every detail breathe. Each recipe earned its own color tone, bold enough to stand apart but cohesive in the system, echoing the idea of variety without chaos.

To make it feel personal, we went handmade. The logo is drawn by hand, perfectly imperfect, organic in every stroke. Ingredient illustrations followed the same line — meats, veggies, herbs sketched with care — transparent and playful, a reminder this food is real.

Trust is stitched into the details. “Made in Vancouver” and the Canadian flag sit quietly on the pack, subtle signals of quality and origin. Nothing loud, nothing forced.

The brand itself speaks with warmth. Playful yet grounded, it treats pets not as afterthoughts but as family. Every choice — from the stripped-back layout to the fresh tones — is about care and clarity, not decoration.

It doesn’t feel clinical or corporate. It feels like something you’d proudly keep on your kitchen counter — approachable, crafted with love, never intimidating. Premium, yes, but always friendly.

Kafka’s Organic became more than just packaging. It’s a story told through color, line, and space: about freshness, about care, about treating our pets with the same thoughtfulness we give ourselves.

OpusSafe wasn’t designed for the calm moments.

It was designed for when you’re in motion, under pressure, maybe wearing gloves, maybe working in low light — and you don’t have time to think twice.

We started with the bold moves. A deep black canvas to block out distraction. A strict grid that gives the interface an unshakable order.
Neon accents placed like wayfinding lights — used sparingly, so when you see one, you know it matters.

Core actions anchored exactly where your thumb expects them, cutting hesitation out of the equation.

Then, we drilled into the micro-details.
Every icon is optically balanced, so it feels centered even when the geometry disagrees.
Line weights are matched across the system for a visual rhythm that feels calm and deliberate.

Micro-animations respond in milliseconds — quick enough to reassure, subtle enough not to interrupt. Shadows are tuned for softness, giving depth without drawing attention.

The result is a tool that doesn’t just look considered — it feels instinctive.

Because in the moments it’s built for, you shouldn’t have to think about the design.
You should just move, act, and trust that it has your back.

For An Elegant Mind, we knew the story had to be more than words — it had to be felt. The brief wasn’t about showing the product; it was about illustrating a process: turning complexity into clarity.

We approached the illustration as a visual metaphor for communication — a tangled mess on one side, a neatly wound thread on the other — connected by understanding.

The style is minimal yet warm: flat colors, clean lines, and soft textures that strip away distractions while keeping it human. It works because it invites the viewer in, making them feel part of the exchange rather than just observing it.

Turning over 200,000 property listings into one simple, powerful tool.

UnitIQ came to us wanting a solution for easy cash flow calculations on properties across Canada. The kind of process that usually feels like math homework—slow, clunky, and intimidating.

The challenge? Handling massive data, building an intuitive flow, and making it work seamlessly on both desktop and mobile. No compromises.

We like projects like this. The ones that push you past the comfortable. Where you have to reach further than you’ve gone before—plan, aim, then trust yourself enough to leap.

And when you land, you’re not just where you set out to be. You’re somewhere better. That’s how we approach every product, even when the brief doesn’t ask for something unique. Because we believe it should be.

Design isn’t just about what you add — it’s about what you remove.

We split our process into two chapters: first, we add based on requirements. Then, we remove. And removing is often harder.

The challenge is knowing how much you can strip away without losing meaning — but instead adding clarity, focus, and strength to what remains.
