Whistler with a little more room to move around? We’ll take it.

There are still bikes on the trails, afternoons can be surprisingly warm, and grabbing a table in the Village suddenly requires a little less strategy. Bring a jacket, lose it by lunch, put it back on before dinner. You know the drill.

It is one of those stretches of the year when Whistler feels a little more local, a little less hurried and very easy to appreciate.

Not a bad place to have an office.

A little inspiration from our corner of the world 🍂

Cool mornings call for an extra layer, but by afternoon the sun is warm enough to have you carrying it instead. Add in early morning fog over the valley, the first yellow leaves along the trails and that soft September light, and Whistler is looking pretty good right now.

It’s the kind of in-between season that keeps a sweater in your bag and your camera close by.

A lot of information lives at ssisc.ca. Invasive species identification, reporting tools, training, local programs, resources, events, volunteer opportunities... the list goes on.

Our job was to make all of it easier to find, explore and actually use.

We recently had the pleasure of building a new website for the Sea to Sky Invasive Species Council, a local environmental charity working to protect the Sea-to-Sky from the impacts of invasive species. 🌱

The new site puts their incredible library of information into a fresh, approachable home, whether you’re trying to identify something growing in your backyard, report an invasive species or find a way to get involved.

We loved bringing this one to life for an organization doing such important work in our own backyard.

Sunscreen in the bag, bike still out, and dinner plans somewhere with a patio.

There’s plenty of summer left to squeeze out of September in Whistler. A lake dip after work? Absolutely. One more big day on the trails? Always. Taking the long way home because the evening light is too good? Obviously.

We know what’s coming, but we’re not putting the summer gear away just yet. ☀️
