At Studio # 8, I have also been making felted, wool mittens out of vintage sweaters. So many combinations of textures and colours! They are so cozy and warm, they have been called " School Yard Mitts" by teachers!

And all made on my Grandmother's Featherweight Sewing Machine, over a 100 years old. Check out the last picture!

At Studio #6 , you will find hand-painted plates, personalized with the child's name, add a special touch to the time-honored tradition of children leaving cookies for St. Nick on Christmas Eve.

This year, I've expanded my glass painting offerings to include handmade felted wool mittens, crafted on a vintage featherweight machine using repurposed vintage wool sweaters. A teacher has aptly dubbed them 'School Yard Mitts' due to their exceptional warmth and coziness. Visit Studio #6!
