🧡 THANK YOU, YUKON! 🧡

A huge thank you to everyone who purchased an Orange Shirt from us in support of the National Day of Truth and Reconciliation.

Because of your purchases, together we raised $2,170 this year! 🧡

These funds will be donated to CAIRS Society Yukon and Liard Aboriginal Women’s Council to support the important work they do in our communities.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who chose to purchase their shirt locally and helped us turn those purchases into something that gives back right here in the Yukon.

📣 LOCAL BUSINESS SHOUTOUT — Bronzefox Inc.

I recently had an idea for our page. Instead of always just posting random products we have for sale, I want to use some of this space to show off the local businesses that support our business! ❤️

As we work on orders for our business customers, I’ll be sharing a little bit about what we’re making for them — and what they do! (With their permission, of course 😊)

First up is Bronzefox Inc.!

They recently supplied us with their logo and we had the pleasure of turning it into a fresh batch of business cards.

Bronzefox Inc. offers a wide range of services, including:

• Landscaping
• Snow removal & ice control
• Demolition & property cleanups
• General repairs
• Land clearing & site prep
• Excavation & trench digging
• Concrete pads
• And more!

We’re incredibly grateful for the local businesses that choose to support our little business when they need printing, signage, promotional products and more. This is our chance to return the favour and introduce some of them to you!

❤️ Thank you, Bronzefox Inc., for trusting us with your business cards!

And stay tuned — we’ll be sharing more of the local businesses we get to work with as their orders come through the shop!

📣 A little turnaround-time update from us!

We are currently running at a 3+ week turnaround on custom orders. We’re incredibly grateful to be so busy, but we also want to make sure everyone has realistic timelines when placing orders. ❤️

A couple of important dates coming up:

🏃 Road Relay Teams: If you need team shirts, please have your order in by the end of the day tomorrow — Friday, August 21st!

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation: September 30th will be here before we know it. If your business, organization or group is planning a bulk shirt order, please get in touch with us as soon as possible so we can get you into the production schedule.

And just a little reminder from behind the scenes… there are only two of us here! 😊

We will always do our best to accommodate rush orders when we can, but during busy times, it simply may not be possible.

We know it can feel like “but it’s only one shirt!” — and you’re right, one shirt doesn’t take us very long to make. The tricky part is that your one shirt might have a few hundred other shirts patiently waiting in line ahead of it. 😅

We appreciate your patience, your understanding, and most of all, your continued support of our little local business. We’re working hard to get everyone’s orders out as quickly as we can! ❤️

✨ Local Artist Feature ✨

Slice of Brie - one of our local artists, restocked her display with beautiful new handmade earrings 🌿💎

Created by Yukon artist Geneviève, these pieces are inspired by nature, organic textures, and meaningful materials. Using elements like naturally shed antler, crystals, stone, metal, and handwoven details, every pair is handcrafted and completely one of a kind.

Her work blends earthy beauty with bold design, creating wearable art that feels personal, raw, and connected to the natural world 🏔️✨

We love being able to support local artists by giving them space to share their creativity right here in our store ❤️

Stop by and check out the newest earrings before they’re gone — every piece is unique!

❤️ The loss of The Pit has hit a lot of Yukoners hard 😢

Coming so soon after the loss of Rancheria, it really feels like pieces of Yukon history are disappearing right in front of us. These places weren’t just buildings — they were memories, stories, road trips, late nights, celebrations, and moments shared with friends and family.

The Westminster Hotel was a place people actually experienced, not just something you looked at from the outside. So many Yukoners have memories connected to it, and we’d love to see yours 📸

We have another contest coming later this week, and for a bonus entry, share a photo of yourself inside or outside either location in the comments below 👇

As a small way to remember these iconic Yukon places, we’ll have FREE Rancheria and Westminster Hotel stickers available this week while supplies last ❤️
Limit of 2 stickers per customer.

Here’s the last time the Yukon Apparel gals stopped in for a drink 🍻

🏔️ Victoria Day Weekend in the Yukon 🌬️

The weather may have been windy and a little cold, but honestly… that’s part of the Yukon lifestyle 😅

This weekend was all about slowing down a bit, spending time with family, getting some yard work done, and enjoying some unreal ribs on the smoker 🔥🍖

Living in the North means making the most of every long weekend — whether that’s around the fire, out on an adventure, or just relaxing outdoors in your favourite hoodie.

Hopefully one of our Love Yukon hoodies will be your next favourite! 🧥🏕️

We hope everyone had an amazing Victoria Day weekend and found some time to enjoy the outdoors, family, friends, and everything that makes Yukon life so special ❤️

Did you know that everything we create is produced by just TWO people? 👀
Yep — it’s a mother & daughter operation over here ❤️

From printing hoodies and stickers to packaging orders and creating custom merch, everything is done right here in-store by the two of us using our collection of printing equipment and machines.

Being able to produce everything in-house means we can keep things as local as possible while continuing to build something in the community where we grew up. 🏔️

We’re proud to be a multi-generational Yukon business focused on locals supporting locals — and every order, share, comment, and recommendation helps keep that dream going.

So the next time you see us printing, packing, or running around the shop… just remember: it’s probably just the 2 of us 😂📦✨
