What does it take for a cheese brand to earn the trust of generations of chefs and restaurant owners across Windsor-Essex and beyond? 🧀

For more than 50 years, Galati Cheese has been trusted by chefs, restaurant owners, and families who believe that “Galati Cheese Simply Tastes Better.” Their commitment to quality and service has made them a staple in kitchens across Southwestern Ontario.

When Galati approached Generator Design, they were looking to refresh their cheese labels while preserving the heritage and recognition they had built over decades. Working closely with their team through a detailed and collaborative design process, we developed a modernized label system that stays true to the brand while creating a more consistent and impactful presence across their product line.

🍕 This project was especially meaningful to us because Galati is also the exclusive cheese supplier for our longtime client, Naples Pizza. Since 1984, Naples has grown from a single Windsor location into a regional favourite, built on a commitment to serving “Unquestionably the Best” pizza. We're proud to support two local brands that have been delivering quality to our community for generations.

⚙️ How do you turn a complex retail technology solution into a story that instantly connects with prospective clients?

As a long-time client of Generator Design of Canada Inc., XCCommerce partnered with us to create a motion graphic that would showcase the success of their work with Metro Inc., one of Canada's premier grocery retailers. Featured on XCCommerce's client page, the video needed to highlight Metro Inc.'s family of banners and subsidiaries while clearly communicating the value XCCommerce delivers through its advanced promotion and loyalty solutions.

Drawing from Metro Inc.'s case study, we focused on the retailer's customer-centric approach and its commitment to delivering personalized shopping experiences. Metro Inc. leverages XCCommerce's Promotion Solution Suite to power loyalty rewards, targeted coupon offers, and personalized promotions for more than five million loyalty program households. Our challenge was to translate these sophisticated systems and business processes into an engaging visual narrative that would resonate with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Using dynamic motion graphics, concise messaging, and clear visual storytelling, we transformed detailed case study content into an accessible and compelling marketing asset. The video illustrates how XCCommerce enables Metro Inc. to quickly create customer-targeted offers, manage promotions across multiple banners, and deliver seamless loyalty experiences across its network of more than 950 stores.

The final result is a polished showcase piece that highlights both Metro Inc.'s success and XCCommerce's technology expertise, while reinforcing the long-standing partnership between XCCommerce and Generator Design.

Tania Jobin has been a longtime public servant for the Town of Tecumseh as councillor for Ward 5, always putting the residents first and fighting for the issues that matter most. Now she is taking that same dedication and experience in her run for Deputy Mayor.

As part of her campaign, she approached Generator Design to help her create a double-sided postcard for distribution throughout the community. We worked close with Tania to develop a postcard that’s eye-catching, to-the-point, and easy to read, with all the relevant contact information front and centre.

Clean, well-organized typography helps to tie this project together, giving Tania something that stands out and to be remembered by the Town of Tecumseh.

How do you convince travellers to rethink the way they cross the border?

The Windsor-Detroit Tunnel partnered with Generator Design of Canada Inc. to create a campaign that would remind travellers why the Tunnel remains one of the smartest ways to get between Windsor and Detroit. Connecting the two downtown cores in just three minutes, the Tunnel is a vital link between Canada and the United States, serving commuters, visitors, and event-goers 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The challenge was to cut through routine travel habits and highlight what makes the Tunnel different: it's fast, convenient, affordable, and gets drivers directly where they want to be.

To bring the message to life, we developed a series of digital display ads, social media creative, and print advertising built around bold, conversational headlines and straightforward messaging. The campaign focused on the Tunnel's biggest advantages; from being the quickest route downtown to offering a simpler, stress-free crossing experience. Supported by strong visuals and a clean, consistent design system, our creative helped reinforce the Windsor-Detroit Tunnel as the fast, reliable, and easy choice for crossing the border.
