Instead of the location tag bringing you to the exact location, it now opens a world map, which shows you all location tagged posts of the people you follow. This is great for event season, reaching a more global audience, and targeting people new to your area.

The term 'hook' in social media marketing is defined as 'a captivating element designed to immediately grab the attention of your audience and entice them to engage with your content.'

Commonly, a hook would be found at the beginning of your caption, but you can't forget about another extremely valuable hook location.

❗ Make sure your graphic carousels and videos also include a hook.

Your first two carousel graphics should be designed with attention-grabbing hooks that encourage your audience to scroll through to the very end.

When it comes to videos the first 3 seconds are the deciding factor as to whether someone will watch until the end or swipe past.

A good hook ensures your audience's attention is captured for the entirety of their viewing experience.

Having a strategic hook that alerts your audience of more information to come in your caption as well as in the digital asset of your post provides you with multiple opportunities to create a post that converts!

I've got my eye on this, do you as well? 👀Instagram's newest update now shows your post views directly on your feed.

No more digging into your analytics to see which posts are performing better than others.

At one glance you can now analyze whether trendy reels, graphic carousels, or behind the scenes snapshots are resonating with your audience best.

➡️ One thing to note is that this is a 'for your eyes only' feature except on your reels tab. To turn off view counts anytime visit your settings tab.

This client was none other than Gardenland Co-op (formerly known as Winkler Co-op).

As an established community centered business, at that point one-man marketing team, needed support navigating the social media landscape.

In my opinion, if you're not batch creating then you're wasting valuable time that could be focused on other important tasks of your business.

Just like most social media marketing related tasks this also comes with certain pros and cons.

❌ it can get overwhelming pressuring yourself into having to get everything done in one sitting
❌ you have to find time in your schedule to dedicate one entire day to it (or at least a few hours)
❌ you might miss out on last-minute trends that emerge later on

✅ it helps you stay organized and consistent
✅ you will have everything done in one day (or even just a few hours!) giving you the freedom to clear your remaining schedule from content creation
✅it is flexible and allows for trending content to be added later-on
