Today is May 5th, Red Dress Day, a day of remembrance for missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and Two-Spirit people. We wear red to honour the lives that have been lost and to show our solidarity with Indigenous communities who continue to seek justice and healing. Let us remember the names of those who have gone missing or been taken from us too soon, and commit to working towards a future where all Indigenous people are safe and valued.
