I talk a lot about taking steps to grow your business, but I wanted to give you a peek inside what Tandem is doing, too.

Recently, I’ve been working on my personal vision and making sure that it aligns with how I see my business moving forward.

A few years ago, my vision was to have a shorter work week, maximize my freedom, be more efficient with the time I was working, and use my time off effectively.

Raise your hand if you have ever not enjoyed your time off because you were stressing about work. 🙋‍♀️It’s the worst!

Now, I’ve ✨pretty much✨ reached that goal, and I’m looking forward.

I am still very passionate about helping small businesses. I love the work I do and who I do it for. I want to help other people create the life they want! So, I’m doing a lot more work on creating a Business Identity with my clients— among other things.

Probably not as much as you would like…right?

As a business owner, it’s easy to feel like you need to do it all. But wearing every hat in your business can hold you back from what truly matters: growth, strategy and enjoying the process.

✨This is where planning comes in.

Take the time to figure out where you truly add the most value to your business and customers. From there, make a plan to prioritize that. That might mean outsourcing certain tasks or elements of your business, creating a new schedule for yourself or getting more niche in your offer.

Another year, another photoshoot. 📸

I’m guilty of putting photos and videos on the back burner because other things always jump to the top of the to-do list.

But as a small business owner, I want to remind you that first impressions matter to your potential customers. When your visuals look polished, people are more likely to view your business as credible and successful.

If professional photos aren’t in the budget, an iPhone and some great natural lighting will also give great results. 😉

These photos can be used on your social media pages, website, print materials, presentations… wherever!

Plus, people want to see and get to know the people behind the business. Connection is key and it makes it easier for people to connect with you on a personal level.

These pictures don’t all need to be extremely professional. People also crave authenticity, and when your dog crashes your photoshoot — you can share that too.
