Every two weeks, we have the pleasure of seeing ’s plant passion in action. 🙌
As our office plant doctor, she is responsible for ensuring our greenery flourishes year-round. 🌱👩⚕️
We asked her for her top 3 plant tips to share with you, and here they are:
1. Consistent lighting:
Once the plant has decided it likes a spot and you see new growth, don’t move it.
2. Avoid over watering:
Use empty wine bottles and water bulbs for a slow release of water over the span of about a week. The plant will take as much as it needs at a time.
3. Use bug stickers to get rid of predators:
If you see any bugs on your plants, spray a gentle soap and water solution on the leaves to kill them without harming your plant. Make sure to watch to see if they return. Add the stickers to your plants to catch them before they become a bigger problem.
Nicole is also the one who taught us that certain plants like to feel like they’re in a rainforest or tropical storm. So every now and then Chris has fun giving the leaves a little smack to simulate animals or rain, and giving them a light shake so they feel like they’re blowing in the wind 🥹
Which tip are you taking home to your plant babies tonight? 1, 2, 3, or 4?
