It's time to take your engagement game to the next level. 🚀

You know what I mean: you want your followers to be more engaged with your content, but it seems like all you're getting is a few likes from the same people over and over again.

I have news for you: if you want engagement, you've got to give it.

Social media is the perfect place to build brand loyalty and trust.

But you can't achieve that without engagement.

It's the social part of social media, after all!

The more you engage with others, the easier it is to form relationships, connect with people, and get more people interested in your business.

And in creating your engagement strategy, you would need these three:
✅ Time
✅ Intention
✅ Connection

Keep in mind that engagement requires more than just liking and commenting; it means offering something meaningful to the conversation to foster TRUE CONNECTION.

But what exactly is a meaningful comment? 🤔

It's more than just a few empty words. Instead, your goal is to:

💬 Add positivity to the post.

Maybe it's a compliment on something you admire about them or a celebration of their latest win like you're their personal cheerleader. 🥳

💬 Seek a connection with the author.

It's definitely NOT an ad for your business; let's keep it AUTHENTIC and show up for others without expecting anything in return. Remember, karma will come back around to you. 👀

▢ Engage with other accounts on social - find complementary accounts that share your audience

▢ Use hashtags/keywords - hashtags still work. Include content-specific & location specific.

▢ Own Google Business Profile - I just wrote about this on my blog if you need details.

▢ Be where audience hangs out - You don't need to be on every platform. Figure out where your audience hangs out, and be there.

▢ Do incredible work. Period.

❤️ Trust you:

▢ Echo the language they use - show you're listening and can relate.

▢ Show up consistently - whatever frequency you can continue.

▢ Use consistent brand colours - feels safe, and that they know what to expect.

▢ Share real POV - Be the real you and share your opinions. Not everyone will like it, but it's about trust, not popularity.

▢ Be vulnerable - be a whole human. Show what makes you real (within your own comfort levels)

🛍️ Buy from you:

▢ Strong CTA above the fold- directing them to shop

▢ Reduce number of clicks to shop - if you talk about a product, get them there in 1 click 👇

▢ Link socials with store - reduce clicks

What would time freedom mean to you? ⏰

At the end of each month, I sit down and record some numbers:

💰How much revenue my business brought in
📱How many IG followers I gained
👋How many new client inquiries I got
Etc.

The goal each month is usually to see a rise in the numbers

If the line goes up, I feel like I’m moving in the right direction. 📈

(This is overly simplified, but you get the idea.)

In general, I think it’s safe to say we’re consistently pursuing MORE in our business.

🤑More Money
🙌More Influence
🚀More Impact

It seems almost counter-intuitive to aim for less.

But when thinking about how much TIME we spend hustling for all of the MORE…

My goal is less. 📉

I want to spend less time
👩‍💻 at my desk
🤳 looking at a screen
✉️ in my inbox

So, if my ultimate goal is to spend LESS time trying to get MORE…

Then I have to be incredibly choosy when it comes to the places where I spend my time.🤔

I have to choose the activities that have the biggest impact for the least amount of involvement.

I can achieve this through

3 Things You Need To Solidify BEFORE You Build a Sales Funnel👇

If you haven't heard of a Sales Funnel yet, it goes something like this:

At the top, you are focusing on ATTRACTING many new people to your brand, so they become aware of your offering.

Some of those people will become more INTERESTED and explore further. (This might look like a follow on Social Media, or a freebie signup on your website.)

Finally, a smaller group will make a PURCHASE because they're convinced it's what they want.

Most of the people I talk to say that they really want to attract new eyes to their social media page because they believe that if they can get enough eyes, it will trickle down into making enough sales. 👀

BUT

There are no rules around how many people you need in order to get 1 to make a sale.

I mean, would you rather attract 100 potential customers in order to make 1 sale? 🥵

OR

would you rather attract 5 potential customers and make 1 sale? 🤩

I think this one is a no brainer. 👆

You see, your ability to convert those eyeballs into loyal brand advocates, lies in how well you set yourself up with the pyramid on the right.
