For the past 10 years, we’ve had the privilege of telling stories across Atlantic Canada.
One thing has become increasingly clear: some of the most important work happening in our communities is often the least visible—not because it isn’t meaningful, but because the work itself often takes precedence over documenting it.
At Orchard Avenue Studios, we believe filmmaking is an act of stewardship.
That’s why we’re introducing Stewardship Storytelling—a transparent, shared-investment approach to place-based filmmaking for projects that strengthen the local fabric.
For stories that align with our mission, we’ll openly share our production costs and invite those interested to determine their investment based on their capacity and the value they believe the story will create. It’s an approach rooted in transparency, shared purpose, and a belief that meaningful stories deserve to be told.
This isn’t about discounted filmmaking. It’s about investing in the people, places, and projects shaping the future of our communities.
