Part of Creative Loafing Restaurant Month 2026, an annual celebration featuring more than 60 restaurants across Tampa Bay, Babushka’s set out to create something that feels distinctly its own. Rather than a traditional prix fixe menu, the team developed a five-course experience that tells a story through bold flavors, thoughtful plating, and a modern take on Eastern European cuisine. .hydepark
From the rich, savory notes of The Pashtet to the sweet finish of the Mandarin Espresso Blini, each course was designed to stand on its own while contributing to a memorable dining experience.
At SHTROM Creative, our role was to make sure that experience translated beyond the dining room. Through photography, creative direction, and social media storytelling, we focused on presenting each dish in a way that reflects the craftsmanship behind the menu and gives guests a reason to stop scrolling, make a reservation, and experience it for themselves.

Course 1 — The Pashtet
Chicken liver pâté tart, sour cherry reduction
Course 2 — Spinach & Cheese Khinkali
Traditional dumpling with spinach and cheese filling
Course 3 — Pickle & Beet Crudo
Thinly sliced raw beets, crisp house-pickled cucumbers, fresh dill, horseradish cream
Course 4 — Deer Venison
Pan-seared venison, cranberry reduction, onion brûlée, goat cheese
Course 5 — Mandarin Espresso Blini
Chocolate crepe, coffee cream, tangerines
