Most Shopify stores are not slow because the owner did something wrong.
They're slow because of how Shopify apps stack up over time. You install one for reviews, one for upsells, one for pop-ups, one for email capture. Each one adds weight to your store. After a while the store is loading like a page from 2012.
And nobody tells you. Shopify doesn't send you an alert. The apps don't warn you.
You just notice that sales slowed down and you can't figure out why.
