🌞Great workshop week with the 1st year students from La Chaux-de-Fonds, in good company with .ch and . ✨ The students created F4 poster 🔵🟥🔶 entirely by hand🏋🏻‍♀️. Bravo to Alina, Amélia, Célestine, Daria, Diogo, Eugène, Inès, Kelia, Lionel, Romane, Sofia, Yolande and Zoé 👏. Thanks Thibaud and the whole team for the invitation.

On Thursday, 16 October, there will be a round table discussion at the from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m. and an opening reception at 6:00 p.m. at , showcasing all the posters from this new edition.

FR — Depuis quelque mois à lancé son projet ReFonte. C’est dans cette optique que nous travaillons avec l’ensemble du collectif sur la nouvelle identité visuelle du lieu. Pour avoir une liberté de création la plus totale, nous avons décidé de dessiner un caractère typographique. Le logo La Fonte en a été le point de départ. l’un des objectifs était de donner à la fois une singularité au nom, en particulier à la lettre (f), ainsi que de jouer avec des formes faisant référence à l’esthétique industrielle du lieu. Ce caractère s’est construit en combinant des formes élémentaires, avec une variation de ronds et de carrés que nous voulons garder comme un outil en constant développement. Des lettres, glyph et autres symboles s’ajouteront au fur et à mesure de nos envies et besoins.  La Fonte est un lieu à Carouge dans les anciennes Halle de la Fonderie. Il accueille des événements associatifs et culturels (concerts, résidences, ateliers, cycles d’expos et de conférences). Le collectif s’occupe de la programmation et de l’organisation des événements.  EN — A few months ago launched its ReFonte project. With this in mind, we’re working with the whole collective on a new visual identity for the venue. To give ourselves complete creative freedom, we decided to design a typeface. The La Fonte logo was the starting point. One of the key objectives was to give the name, and in particular the letter (f), a unique character, while at the same time playing with shapes that refer to the industrial aesthetic of the space. This character has been built up by combining elementary shapes, with a variation of rounds and squares that we want to keep as a constantly developing tool. Letters, glyphs and other symbols will be added as we see fit. La Fonte is located in Carouge, in the former Halle de la Fonderie. It hosts a range of associative and cultural events (concerts, residencies, workshops, exhibition and lecture series). The collective is responsible for programming and organising the events.

These three new families complete the Rebond family introduced by the Rebond Grotesque character in 2019. This is the culmination of several years’ work. Begun in 2022, the final vectors were finally defined in 2024.

Signs dance, their shadows at the bottom of a motionless mass. Neither letters, nor numbers, nor obvious drawings - something in between. A silent language, to be listened to with eyes wide shut. Every curve, every angle carries a breath, an untranslatable whisper.
