is retiring from professional alpine ski racing, and what a career it was.
15 years at the top. Injuries that would have ended most careers. Every single comeback. 11 World Cup top-10 finishes. A Swiss national slalom title. A World Championship bronze in Saalbach 2025. A world ranking of 9th in slalom. All of it built on pure grit and love for the sport.
We had the privilege of being part of this journey. And what stays with us isn't just the results, it's the person behind them. Someone who never cut corners, never stopped believing, and never stopped growing. Even completing a university degree by distance learning while competing full-time on the World Cup circuit.
That's Marc. All in. Always.
Retirement isn't the right word for someone like him. It's a redirect. Same energy, new arena.
Congratulations Marc, on everything you accomplished, on everything you overcame, and on what's coming next. The sport is better for having had you in it.
