AI has transformed the way advertising media works! It optimizes campaigns to achieve specific outcomes, makes experimentation with creative strategies more affordable, and accelerates data analysis.

But with such powerful tools now available to everyone, how do you stay competitive?

We could talk about authenticity and purpose-driven branding, but when it comes to effective marketing campaigns, it all starts with how well your KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and optimization signals align with your business goals.

On that note, I want to highlight a framework shared by Qiong Wu (Marketing Science Partner, Meta) at the last Meta Marketing Summit. She outlined various strategies to elevate measurement for long-term growth, and one of the simplest — yet super effective — is the “Test and Learn” framework.

Here’s how it works:
✅ Define a clear vision for what success looks like.
✅ Form hypotheses on strategies that could optimize your marketing efforts.
✅ Test and measure to assess the true incremental impact.
✅ Refine and iterate based on insights, so you can adjust your approach until you develop a solid, scalable strategy.

Despite its simplicity, testing and learning from data is often overlooked, weakening marketing performance. You can test all your assumptions, but never scale tactics that aren’t backed by data and sound methodology.

ℹ️ Facebook parent company, Meta, is exploring a new decentralized social network that could compete with Twitter.

The project, codenamed P92, would be an independent app where users would login using their Instagram credentials. Meta is also exploring integrations with existing social networks.

The idea is to provide a new space where “creators and public figures can share timely updates about their interests,” Meta spokeswoman Seine Kim said in a statement early March.

The goal is to attract Twitter users who are felling more and more unsatisfied with Elon Musk’s changes to the platform.

With regards to the approach of the new app, decentralized social networks rely on individual servers, avoiding centralized control of content and possible censorship.
