PAPER: G.F. SMITH COLORPLAN Smoke 260 g/m2
With its 55 colors, Colorplan is the most comprehensive range of colored papers available worldwide. First produced in the 1930s, it stood out from the beginning for its high quality and innovative character, becoming an icon for generations of designers. Its high printing performance and versatility make it suitable for all kinds of projects: luxury packaging, shopping bags, business cards, invitations, art catalogs.
PRINT FINISHING: DIGITAL WHITE LED INK
Thanks to new and continuously improving technologies, it is now possible to print a solid white using a digital toner. This new cost-effective process includes LED lamps working at a low temperature in order to achieve a higher digital white coverage, and allows new creative horizons, also for lower number of copies. In this case the technology was used to create a white layer under the red, in order to print a shining color on a paper that would’ve otherwise lowered its brilliance.
