Support is more than a statement. It is a decision to invest in what comes next.

On 13 November 2026, WiSTEM Conference 2026 brings together women and girls in , industry leaders, educators, innovators, institutions and technology stakeholders around one goal: Accelerating STEM Education and AI Innovation for Women.

But a conference of this scale takes more than ideas. It takes organisations willing to put resources behind those ideas.

Why sponsor ?

Because your organisation can:

• Invest in Cameroon’s future tech workforce by supporting access to STEM and AI opportunities for women and girls.

• Reach a relevant audience of students, young professionals, educators, technology leaders and decision-makers.

• Demonstrate measurable social impact through a platform focused on skills, innovation, mentorship and opportunity.

• Build relationships with emerging talent and the people shaping Cameroon’s technology ecosystem.

• Put your brand behind action, not just statements about inclusion and innovation.
This is an opportunity to do more than attach your logo to an event.

Help create access. Help build skills. Help connect talent to opportunity.

If your organisation is looking for a meaningful way to contribute to Cameroon’s STEM and AI ecosystem, WiSTEM 2026 is ready to partner with you.

Another good one for .

We’re happy to welcome AfricanWITS as a partner for the 2026 Women in STEM Conference.

has been creating opportunities for women and girls in STEM through training, mentorship, entrepreneurship and leadership programmes. Their work, particularly with young women looking to build careers in technology, connects closely with what we want WiSTEM to do.

This year, we’re bringing the conversation around STEM education and AI innovation to the centre, while creating room for women and girls to learn, connect and share what they’re building.

Having AfricanWITS with us makes that conversation even richer.

Welcome to WiSTEM 2026, AfricanWITS.

Partnerships matter.

Impact Media is joining .

Some organisations build things while others make sure the world sees them being built.

Impact Media brings that second gift. Media strategy, storytelling, and the kind of visibility that turns a room full of women and girls in STEM into a movement people can't look away from.

We're building this together.

We should stop telling girls to “dream big” while leaving them without mentors, networks, visibility or rooms to practise leadership.

Motivation matters. Access matters more.
WiSTEM 2026 is part of the work of making access more
real.

Do not come to alone if you know someone who has been questioning whether STEM is really for her.

Bring the friend who loves science but doubts herself.

Bring the colleague trying to move into tech.

Bring the student looking for direction.

Sometimes, attendance is not only about what you receive. It's about who you make room for..

Happy New Week from WiSTEM.

Our Speaker Reveals continue.

You can have a good idea and still struggle to get anyone to fund it.

And in Cameroon, building a tech business comes with its own set of questions. Who is willing to invest? What makes a startup worth backing? How much should a founder raise?

And what happens when investors want proof that the business can grow before putting money into it?

For our next Founder Funding speaker, we’re bringing in someone who has had to navigate these questions himself.

Meet Mambe Churchill Nanje, Co-Founder and CEO/CTO of Buyam.

Churchill is a software engineer and entrepreneur who has spent years building technology ventures in Cameroon and across Africa. With Buyam, he has taken the journey from building a product and growing its user base to raising external capital to scale the business.

So we want to hear the part founders rarely get to hear openly:

What does it actually take to raise funding for a tech startup?

Not just how to pitch.

But what happens before the pitch, what investors look for, the mistakes founders make, and what changes once someone actually writes the cheque.

Churchill will be bringing his experience to the Founder Funding conversation at WiSTEM 2026.

If you had 10 minutes with a founder who has raised funding, what would you ask?

Put your question in the comments. We may take some of them into the room.

Building is one thing. Finding the money to keep building is another. For many tech founders in Cameroon, the funding journey doesn't follow a straight pattern.

You build, apply, get rejected and try again. Next, you find a partner and get to discover another opportunity. And somewhere in that process, you figure out what works for your business.

At , we are bringing Nervis Nzometiah, Founder and CEO of NERVTEK, into the conversation on Founder Funding.

Nervis has spent years building in technology and STEM education, creating solutions and programmes for young people while navigating the realities of building a venture in Cameroon.

What can founders learn from that journey?

Where should you look when the usual funding routes aren't working?

That's one of the questions we'll be exploring at WiSTEM.

What would you ask Nervis if you had the chance?

Drop it in the comments.

You have a business. You need money to grow it. So, where do you go?

For many founders, the first thought is investors. But banks are also part of the funding conversation, and there is a lot founders need to understand about how that conversation works. At , we're bringing this conversation..

Meet Warah Shiri Constance, Branch Manager, Ecobank Limbe, who will be joining our Founder Funding panel.

With over a decade in the banking sector, Constance has spent years working within the financial system and with businesses and customers navigating it. Her recent work also touches on financial literacy, investment and financial inclusion.

So, we want to ask:

What does a founder need to have in place before approaching a bank?
What makes a business finance-ready?
And what are founders getting wrong about accessing formal financing?
This is one conversation we don't want to keep theoretical.

Constance Shiri will be at WiSTEM 2026.

And if you're building a business in Cameroon, you probably have a question for her.

Drop it in the comments. We might just put it on the panel.
