In Action: Catholic Women Association – Faith, Service & Sisterhood
At the heart of Divine Mercy Cathedral Buea lies a powerful force of faith, unity, and service — the Catholic Women Association (CWA).
Founded in Cameroon in 1964, the Catholic Women Association is a vibrant movement of women dedicated to serving God, strengthening families, and uplifting communities through faith and action.
More than just a church group, CWA is a sisterhood — a community of women bound by love, prayer, and a shared mission to make a difference. Across parishes, they stand as pillars of spiritual growth, charity, and leadership.
Their mission goes beyond the walls of the Church. Through prayer meetings, outreach programs, and acts of charity, they embody true Christian values — compassion, unity, and service.
From supporting the needy and visiting the sick, to actively participating in liturgical celebrations, these women continue to shape both the Church and society. They are living witnesses of faith in action, inspiring the next generation to walk in love and purpose.
✨ Motto: Strong in Faith. United in Love.
